    Buying Online Paint

Just want to know if anybody has any experience buying paint from online. eBay? Paintballgear.com or other places? Anyone know a good online store for Paint?

I'm finding better prices online compared to my local shops. But I'm affraid that the shipping will cause paint to break. or the paint has been sitting around for a couple of years. Anyone have any input?

Sorry if this has been posted already, but the search function doesn't seem to be working on my computer.

    Thanks,

    ~Shingo~

even if you buy everything else online -- keep your local fields open and buy their field paint. it's probably the only thing keeping them afloat.

Whatever you do stay AWAY from Assassins paintball gear. They totally screwed me. I had 4 cases of paint with 12 of the 16 bags had a lot of borken paint in them. I have ordered from Action Village before with no problems.

I love the white box from orderpaintball it was aweosome. I also got the whitbox from X paintball. One type was kick *** and the other sucked big ball. For higher quality Xpaintball has given me the best results beakage wise. I have never seen a broken ball from them. They had better shipping than anybody else. I like AV's prices but I have gotten a few more brokens from them. Not as good of packaging.

The best place that i have found to buy paint online is> www.paintball-discounters.com. I have bought many cases from them. i have only had one bag have one ball that broke. The have the paintbucks program to. If you shoot RPS/PMI paints like marballizer, allstar, premium this is place to be. See every time you buy a case of paint then they give you a paint buck once you have saved at least 5 paint bucks in one year you send them in with 6 dollars per 1000 paintballs and the ship the free. If you save 9 paintbucks then they send you a whole case. this is the best deal so far i have found. Where else are you going to get paintballs free when you buy a certain amount? Not anywhere i know except paintball-discounters.com. Oh one other thing they are in OHIO. I live in South Carolina. If i order Monday they most times will be at my door step by Wednesday. Check them out.

I disagree with this wholeheartedly. It's like saying, do all of your shopping at KMart....it's all that's keeping them afloat. I'm not getting into the whole paint/BYOP/field arguement...because Lohman will pop in and start throwing accounting numbers at me like a nerd ninja but I will say that some fields offer competitively priced paint and some do not. Some fields offer a well-groomed field...some do not. Some have good refs...most...I mean some do not. Some paintball stores have good customer service...some do not. When I decide where to take my business, I factor all of these things in.

My only knock on iternet paint is that if you don't buy in bulk...watch out for shipping costs! I've found it almost cheaper to buy paint at the local pb store, even though it's overpriced, because the shipping on internet paint is outrageous...some places like $20 a case.

When I need to buy a lot of paint I just go to paintballgear because after $100 its free shipping and I honestly don't think I have ever had a broken ball in any case.

im pretty sure that most paintball places package it decently, its the morons delivering them that gets them broken, they 1. dont put a fragile label on it 2. ignore the fragile label

I went to Dunhams to get some paint...and it was so sad that it made me laugh out loud.

                        1) They ad Zap Spank for $29.99. Not a great deal...but no shipping...a case for under $40 is always good. So I buy it. Now, the paint is vacuum packed in 4 bags enclosed in a plastic container. So, you'd think there's no way that it could be broken...all 4 bags!!!

I opened another case...3 bags!! That was it. I went to look for something else.

                        2) I found some Nelson paint. Always wanted to try Nelson...so I take a look ($39.99 a case). There was a case marked with like 4 fragile stickers...SMASHED! I mean completely smashed! The thing was so damaged that it no longer had the shape of box. I wish I would have taken a picture of it with my cell phone. It was pretty funny.

I'd go actionvillage personally, although I haven't bought paint online before. I figure, how do shops get their paint? they have to get it shipped to them. You probably won't have any less luck getting your paint online than at a store, and you can always towel a bag dry, its not too hard, even if it is annoying. Also, actionvillage gives free shipping over $79(like someone said above) and right now, they have GAP paint for $41(which is one of my favorite brands), so 2 cases gets you free shipping. You can split an order with your friend or something and it will be cheaper than buying from a field, and it will be good paint.
you know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...

Don't you silly ppl realize a fragile label on the outside almost the equivilent of a kick me sign on any thing you ship. I've had computers shipped to me with and without the fragile stickers and I tell you that there is always something broken in the ones with fragile stickers on it.

I'm going to try actionvillage next time I order. I'll probably get a couple cases of Draxxus Midnight and a case of their white box paint. That will end up being $98.99 for 6000 rounds. No shipping. That'll be enough to last me all year easy (tmy regular field is FPO so I can only use it in outlaw games or at BYOP fields). I'll be pretty surprised if there isn't a ball broke...but last time I ordered online I got lucky so we'll see how it goes.
