Well unfortunatly tonight I am no longer apart of the mag family. My house was broken into. They stole about 2 grand worth of my stuff and a few hundred dollars worth of my roomates' stuff. They took my rt minimag. It had a carbon fiber frame, a minmag body, an rt valve that I never copied the valve numbers down on, a pmi(i think ) ceramic barrel, and an ICD on/off. They also stole a spyder AMG with an egg and a co2 tank. They stole a halo and a few cheap masks and a hpa tank. They also took a modded xbox, two ps2s(only one was mine), most all of my games, a psp with a few games and a 1 gig memory card, and then a cell phine and a stero that werent mine. I had more than a few more paintball guns under the bed left and I also had nib subs and an amp under it as well. Nobody was hurt luckly so that is the real up side. Over all they just took fun stuff so while it still sucks life easily will go on. Hopefully my insurance will cover everything at the cost to replace it and not at some rediculous depriciation rate. If I get a decent chunk back Ill be back in the family soon but who knows. Whne I moved into this place I hated the neighborhood and now I realize why. I cant wait to get out of here. Sorry for rambling a bit but at this point Im trying to do everything in my power to stay calm and not go balistic on something. Well I hope everyone elses night went better than mine.

Damn, that sucks man. Sounds like you have a good attitude about it, though. No one was hurt and the insurance *should* cover it. Was the place ransacked or did it look like they knew where to go? If it's the latter, it may be someone you know. Hope you get your stuff back so you can play again soon. -
Sorry to hear that, bro. I know what it's like to get stuff stolen and it sucks. You'll probably have to "remember" some "extra" things that were also taken in order to get enough money back from your insurance to cover what was stolen. Unfortunately, that is the nature of insurance. If you happen to "remember" that some jewelry was also stolen, then that might help.**

They for the most part seemed like they were on a mission on what to steal. Most everything gone though was out in plain sight. All of the electronic stuff was sitting out. The guns were sitting out. Some of the hooper stuff was in a duffle bag in the closet but it was a huge bag and I figure they put the other stuff in it as well. The one odd thing was from the one roommate they went upstairs and only took the ps2 out of his room. They didnt take dvds or the computer or guitars(that were each alone worth more than I lost total). Just the ps2. I had a few things tossed about but for the most part none of are stuff was destroyed. All of the tvs and computers were left without being hurt. It looks like they were going for speed and just took obvious easy stuff. It could have been a lot worse if they had trashed everything they couldnt take just to be ********.
As for finding more missing things. Im not going to lie. I wont forget anything that is gone but it isnt worth it to lie about it. The insurance policy is a huge one for other reasons and I think I get full retail nib price for everything minus like 500 bucks deducatble. If thats the case ill be happy. I had a lot of money in old ps2 games that I havent played for a long time that are now all gone. Those in and of themselves should cover the deductable. If I break even on the rest of the stuff Ill be overjoyed. If, and this is a HUGE if, I do come out about even on the rest Ill have money for a new xbox 360 and Ill get a used emag and a tank with more hydro left on it. Thats about the only positive way I can spin this. I really loved that gun too. If guns had to go missing the mag was about the only one I really didnt want to see go. Oh well. Its still all just "toys".Why doesnt anything work for me.Comment

Its not that you have to lie, but that xmag you had was worth a pretty penny I am sure.
I hate to hear that it happned to you, I would be one very mad guy if somone stole any any of my mags or freestyle. I could actually live without the freestyle or the dragun mag, but my zgriped minimag would be hard to replace. I hope it all turns out alright for you.Comment

Well there is only one thing worse than a thief...a liar! I feel for you man, some scum was IN your house! Low life punks. Catch them and bust their head open. If you need a mag to go play with, I'll build you one. Tell me what accessories if any you have left.

I talked to the insurance people today and they are getting a detailed list of what all was stolen and the prices for them. This is the first claim we have had with them in 16 years so they have been really nice so far about everything. It sounds like some of the things will be refunded at todays retail price and others will be at a depriciation rate based on what I paid and how long I have had it. The good thing for me was most of it was bought within the last year or two at most. After I totalled everything up based on what I have noticed missing so far I have payed just over $3150 for everything gone and to replace it new today would run just over $2750. I didnt think they took as much as they did until I realized that the bag they took had all of my barrels, hoppers, and masks in it and most all of my games were missing for all the systems. I had also forgot how much money was in the accessories for all the different consoles.
It's really nice to hear the support. They cleaned me out pretty good. The only mag parts I have left are a classic sear and pin. It sounds like this is going to get moving fast on the insurance side so hopefully I will have a payment soon and can get myself a new mag.Originally posted by TunamanWell there is only one thing worse than a thief...a liar! The one thing I am thankful for is I had bought my sister and my mom some gifts on spring break and they were in a large plastic bag. The thiefs took the bag but left the stuff in it. It wouldnt have been that big of a deal but I had told my sister I had something for her and had forgoten it a few weekends in a row. I would have felt terrible that my being forgetful ended up making her disappointed. Why doesnt anything work for me.Comment
