    Drops ROCK! ...

    for speedball.
For bush ball, I like my guns like long rifles.

You know I wish someone posted a video like the one you did with all the broke paint in the gun. It took me almost 3 months to figure out what the hell was wrong with my gun, that made it do that. Just turn up the loader.

There a few main reasons drops aren't favored by many nowadays.

      1. They're much larger than a unimount or rail and detract from the gun itself.

      2. Lots of drops don't have on/off's and on/off's are really nice when you're used to them.

      3. Lastly and probably the biggest reason why you don't see drops used by the pros really, is because you "shark" with drops. Drop forwards effectively lower your tank in relation to your gun. This causes you to shoulder the gun the same, but the gun is actually raised higher and therefore your loader and sometimes your whole gun is more likely to be shot because its a larger, more visible target.

P.S. Nice mag and videos. Thanks for sharing!

Actually, for the most part I haven't seen this to be the case at all. People tend to sight down the same part of the paintball marker (Usually the barrel.) regardless of where the tank is. I doubt many people will change the way they aim when lowering the tank a little on their shoulder let's them aim in the same way. I suppose it could happen, but I haven't really seen it.

The only thing I think causes people to shark are high rise feeds... With an uncut Egg II it's even sharkier...

Well, it varies from player to player and style to style. But, it definitely encourages sharking much more.

Yeah I know my E-mag wasn't as comfortable on my shoulder when I had a big drop on it. Went for a smaller tank/unimount and my profile was lower along with more comfort and stability. Like you said though, varies from person to person....lol sorry to have a drop discussion in your thread resurection, it is indeed an amazing mag.

UPDATED VIDEO... I went to work and realized after some sleep just how damn DARK my video's were, so I edited the best one and lightened it up so you can actually see.

                  4. Triplet Ramp - Paint (sorta, this one is funny!)

It's also a WMV at just over 1 meg instead of a 20meg MPG.

He had the reloader B on its slowest setting, he says that in the video. Other than that, sweet gun. I wish they were easier to get/ more available.

Eye's on Devil mags are all hype.
or at least there is no evidence that the Predator board eye code works on a mag.
It should not matter how "slow" your hopper is... the whole point of eyes is to delay the fire sequence until a ball is in the breech.

p8ntball72 --> A couple of things... a slow hopper will make a lot of difference, especially if you have the gun set to fire even if it DOESN"T see a ball in the breech for 3/4 of a second. Also, the video I made was with Triplet Ramp on which is three shots per pull.

And exactly what do you have to do to a gun to have it chop paint and have it spray on the outside of the body/neck when the hopper is on?

Well it does have a CCM feedneck which has the little gaps in it all the way around.
That would let the paint spray out.
But it does just look like a set up, sort of a photoshop job to me too.

I'm not saying a setup, just a strange pic.

My point being I am not trying to hide anything... and honestly - ALL guna will chop paint under the right circumstances. I had 4 month old field paint in a slow hopper on a too-fast ramping setting. I shot 95% of a full hopper and only had a problem after one continuos rope of paint. Not too bad in my book.

I left the video showing my 'mess up' at the end because I think it is hilarious. Especially my face after I turn the air off.
"Hmm, what the hell did I do?"

MOST IMPORTANT --- I have a DEVILMAG, for real, in my hands, and it RIPS! Do you?
