The wife (2003 vet) and I (2003, 2004 vet) are hoping to make it as well as my friend Danny (2003, 2004 vet) and his wife (2003 vet).

(you may remember some of our faces from the honor guard in 2003 with the cavalry hats and guideons - in 2004 my friend Danny and I came with the Tommy Gun Tippmanns)

Need to do some more logisitics to make it happen.

I understand the apprehension. Sapper is a former marine and a member of the paintball team OCMI. if anyone is still apprehensive you may send your gear to me and I will safeguard it. I will only accept UPS or FedEx insured. You will have to provide identification to claim your gear. There will be a limit to the number of parcels I can hold and transport. I don't know what that limit is yet. If anyone is apprehensive about my credentials you may contact Jungle Island where the game will be held. i can understand the aprehension and thank pickle for vouching for me paintball gear is very exoensive and i wouldnt send mine to just anyone as far as me bing a ex marine im a marine (there are no ex marines just active inactive reserve and dead im inactive) im also a freemason some of you may know what that means pickle if you need to i can and will loan you my trailer for you to carrry everyones gear in i know i can install a hitch on your lil green car to pull it with or let me know hwat other help me and the rest of OCMI can provide. for those of you who dont know who we are here is our site www.ocmipaintball.com

im so stoked already about this..im saving all my sick time..to go..even when im hungover, sick or dying at work, i wont use it..it will so be worth it..but a question..whats everyone gonna wear..im asuming more woodsball apparely, bdu's and such....i just wanna look like a geek in bright blue speedball jerseys and white Events...ill prolly rock my old Nvader mask or maybe pick up some olive avatars..but are bdu's gonna be the staple uniform..and whats this with t shirts..do we get them at the events..do we all wear them during play..straight semi games right...and will u guys kill me if i show up with my viking ALONG with my mags...are the AO guys gonna group together??..and whats going down on sat..we all have to meet up somewhere..invade sc village??..party at someones house..keger??? i might be able to get a band or 2 lined up...my house is out..unless i can get rid of my parents that weekend...i live at home..so what...

I've played a bit of woodsball here and there but I've never been to a scenario day/weekend. I've been wanting to get into scenario play for a while now but it's just too damned expensive... the charity/possibly meeting William Shatner angle has helped me rationalize the expense

Along with rudz questions what do you guys think I can expect as an entry fee? How long are the games? Is there a "respawn" rule if you're eliminated? This is just a 1 day thing, right? No camping? Do you carry EVERYTHING onto the field that you might need? I was at JI a couple of weeks ago, the day before the last Big Game, and there were doods out there in ghillie suits and carrying very large backpacks onto the field... Is that what a scenario noob should shoot for, preparation wise?

BTW, Pickle I LOVE that Crossfire field! We had 40 players on a side and it was like the opening D-Day scene on Saving Private Ryan... we had 13 people crowded behind some of the plywood Xs at the beginning of the game. Freaking Awesome! Trenches is pretty cool too with all that weed growth from the rains. Even though I'm a staunch woodsballer, JI is a damn good commercial field.
