Twistlock Freak question

NO this is not a WTB thread...

I've been looking for a twistlock freak back for my classic RT mag and the twistlock portion of the backs that I have seen look different than the one that is on my stock RT barrel. It looks either like the grooves for the nubbins aren't there or the twistlock groove is in a different place or goes a different direction.

The RT I have has a feedneck like this:

can anyone tell me if there are differences or if any of these will fit my classic RT? Are the barrels for the powerfeed left and powerfeed right different?

Mine is identical to /\ /\ /\
It has grooves for pf left and right.
it works fine in my classic powerfeed body no problem. IDK about the RT but it should be fine.

I see, so the barrel has two twistlock grooves and will work for either powerfeed

There are 2 types of twist loc barrels that I have seen. 1 type has 2 "L" twist locks for PF Left and PF Right. The Second type has a single "T" slot that allows you to choose left or right. The T is less common though.

My Freak twist-lock back matches yours, and my other barrel.

The two L-grooves are for the two power-feeds, I think. Your RT should be fine.
