They've been doing that for a while now, maybe even before paintball. Hell, they used to make mini machine guns. Tippmann Industrial is another arm of the company. It's not unusual actually ... many companies used to manufacture this or that. Remington firearms also made typewriters, and GM made refrigerators and cars for example. -

If I recall they also did .22LR miniature versions of machine guns too.
