I bought cap'n krunch's '92 polished phantom from him. He paid CCI to fix it...was quick and great, and the gun came today.

Wow....its beautiful. Ive never shot a quality pump before, and this thing is just beautiful. while slightly unbalanced with my crossfire steel 68 sticking off the back of it (testing purposes only :) ), the thing shoots like a dream. i want to just let all you high ROF'ers know, try one of these before you buy a cocker or mag...u might fall in love.

i also have one related question. Can you fit a standard cocker trigger shoe on it? cuz the little metal stick got kinda uncomfortable after my 100 or so test shots...dont even wanna know what it would be like after a full day.

haha, in all my test shots i used far less air then the stuff that shot out when i unscrewed my tank. This is great....a poor mans dream (1 buck for air and 300 paintballs for the whole day....mmmmmmmmm)

ive got a 4oz co2 on mine, and its perfect (well, havent filled it, but i plan on using that). Too bad i cant play stock with my standard RF...but whatever...a full hopper has its advantages. Heres a crummy pic or 2 of my new setup, tell me what you think :)

on a side note...WHERES MY DAMN STICK SQUEEGIE. using old paint and never shooting a non plastic pump before, i somehow managed to break a ball (short stroked i guess). now where did my stick squeegie go? anyways, off to hockey practice...i know what ill be thinking about

Nice, but I hope you aren't using that at PNL, cause on those ultimat air fields you need all the speed you can get! Anyways, it looks nice.

HORRIBLE pic of a great gun.

The Phantom was hard pressed to find a peer in the hay day of pump play - and today there are VERY few that hold a candle to it.

You can put a "standard" trigger shoe on it. I have one on mine. Great pump gun, isn't it? You know about the "auto trigger", right?

dunno about the Co2 thing...ill tell you when I get it filled. Ya...thats how i shot it, the auto trigger or whatever. It didnt work so good when I did pump shoot....so i tried it, and i was like SWEET! i just figured that was what your supposed to do...right? alright...ill look for a trigger shoe.

Should be able to get 400 shots. That is based on 40 shots per 12 gram (3.33 shots per gram). I was easily able to get that outa mine. Of course, if you get any liquid in there all bets are off.

PHANTOMS are sweet, especially the newer ones. Like webmater said horrible pics, great gun. I thnk I am gonna get me a new phantom soon.

That's pretty much the only way I shot mine.
