    5 WORST PB companies

Ok, so we all know that there are some really good PB companies out there. Lets see your five worst now. We all have horror stories. List whatever paintball related co you want, feilds, stores, online stores, manufactureres, whatever.

    In no particular order:

    888paintball/National
    TAG/KM2/Devils Den
    Freeflow
    Smart Parts
Monteneel (Remember them? great gun, crap company)

    good idea, bad execution.

It would be better if each person listed the companies they think are bad, and name supporting facts/arguements.

i only have a couple on my list:

racegun - they stole my money! i bought some parts ($90 worth) off their site in december.... and i still haven't got them. if they're not doing buissiness, they should at least take their store site down.

getrealpaintball - all i wanted was a bottomline kit for my traccer and they are pretty much the only place i know of that still stock it... but for them to even notice me, i had to buy a $100 carbine stock as well... (which i ended up never using)

What did tag do to you? I have seen/witnessed/talked to/hung out with/partied with/bought from TAG since I met Chris and they have been nothing but nice to me. Did they take a turn for the worse recently?

The crapiest company I can think of is action village, they never have anything in stock and somehow manage to screw up shipping every single time. The are followed closely by shady forum people, but at least I know they are shady.

888paintball/National - try dealing with the returns people. I bought 6 cases of paint that were all bad. (and I dont mean shot bad, I mean not one left the barrel of any gun intact bad). After telling me to return them and paying for the return shipping myself, they only gave me credit for ONE case. Subsequent complaint I filed with AMEX was found in my favor. I was buying 6-10 cases of paint from them (At least) a month for a few years. Not to mention the other items ive purchased. I added up the receipts that Ive saved over the years, and the total came out to $9,565. Thats not including the ones I couldnt find or remember, so basically they told someone who has spent $10k with them over the years to go F myself over six cases of cheap paint. Great way to do business.

TAG/KM2/Devils Den - Emag boards, Devil mags, need I say more? At least they still can come through. I really love their products, so im rooting for them. Great guys, great products, poor expectation managment.

Freeflow - similar situation, people paying for parts and waiting forever.

Smart Parts - Obviously the whole patent thing, but they arent without other sins. I waited for almost a month for them to ship me a Freak kit with no excuse other than the computer is acting screwy. It apparently wasnt acting screwy enough not to proccess my credit card. I had to call thema fter four weeks to "remind" them about the order, only to be told that they couldnt find it in their system.

Monteneel - Remember them? great gun, crap company. They found out I was doing trigger jobs on Z-1's and refused to sell me parts anymore. Talk about touchy. I guess bankruptcy was a better option than taking my money. Im glad they didnt find out what I was doing to their valves.

You cannot lump TAG with Devils Den. They know each other, and Devils uses TAG boards, thats about it. I understand your point but it is not fair to lump companies together like that.

I always though they were different in name only? I learned something new today.

The only place I have ever had a problem with was orderpaintball.com. I ordered an Empire 4+3 harness. They sent me a faulty 3+2 instead , because they were out of 4+3, yet they still found it in their hearts to charge me for the 4+3 . I got it, and before I even played a game the thing started ripping... I called them to try and get it replaced, and they pretty much told me to FO. Horrible place, now I shop at action villiage

They are, at least few the last few years, different companies. TAG is owned and operated by Bob Sandifer and Chris owns and operates Devils Den. Same general area but different shops. I have never heard of KM2 though.

In fact my brother and I both own Monteneel Designs Z-1 and Z-2. We were able to have them converted into Mega-Z's before they closed up shop. It was my first semi and a very reliable marker. In the cold you'd see the 68 specials freeze up and the ICON would be tearing things up!

It annoys me that there is another marker out there called an ICON Z!

In fact my brother and I had some similar gear we use to call ourselves "The Icon Brothers"

Smart Parts - Obviously because of their patent and strong arm tactics; Received an Ion yesterday it makes me glad I'm only using it to try to make a pneumag
