If a blowback such as tippmann can get into the 20s there is no way you are getting full cycles. The most I have seen a tippy shoot before it uncocked was like 17.

they said you can get like 50,000 shots off of one tank. they need to make a semi propane gun now tho. they tried but the gun heated up too much since the propane is igniting in the gun.

No, the propane is not igniting in the gun. The gun still works in the same fashion as others; expansion of a compressed gas is being directed in a manner as to propel a paintball. The propane isn't being ignited.. then it'd be a firearm.

teufelhunden, got this from the tippman website, from the C3 users manual, FAQ section. You can download it in PDF format if you want.

              7. Where else is propane used?
Propane is used safely in dozens of consumer products like
nail guns, power tools, household appliances, outdoor lighting,
camping equipment and cars. When used in these types of
items or in an internal combustion chamber like the C3TM,
propane is a convenient and effective fuel.

              9. When using the marker I noticed the marker felt warm. Is
              this normal?
It is normal for the marker to become very warm when shooting.

do you even know wtf youre talking about? the c3 DOES ignite the propane. thats why it can get so many shots off the single tank.

That antichop mechanism looks pretty nice. Definate props to whoever designed that. It'd probably sell better if it integrated into the stock clamshell though.

My apologies, I figured the c3 worked like an airsoft gun; seems logical.

Anyway, given this information, what good is it anyway if it takes you 900 years to go through 50k shots?

that means you only buy 1 tank and you dont have to worry about running out/filling so its ideal for the "backyard" scenario/rec players, as long as they wear masks and use barrel pugs.

You still have to go buy paint and stuff.. and, at least around my area, everywhere that sells paint can fill tanks [including good old walmart].. so I still fail to see the attraction.

Not everyone who plays paintball lives in your area... there are many places where it is hard to get a fill. Are afraid of the C3 or something? you start off by talking out of your *** about it and now you just knock it.

you can take paint with you, you cant take a fill station.
