How do you like my custom minimag?

Hey guys, check out my Retro-Minimag with benchmark double trigger, 12-inch boomy, and shocktech drop with benchmark on/off cradle.
The body is a stock rail which I cut with a dremel and hammer finished. The foregrip was knurled, I polished it and hammer finished it. The grip panels are hammered and polished aluminum from some stock plate I had sitting around. At the bottom is a hammer finished sight rail. It was black anodized and I only polished after hammering so that only the raised surface is silver. I hope you like it, I plan to do more work when I find the time. I'll post better pictures later if I can get a better camera.

Thanks. It's hard to say how long it took me as I did it in pieces whenever I had some spare time. Probably close to thirty hours in all.

Cool, I like when someone goes their own way to customize a marker. It is more personal when somebody else can't order the same parts and have a carbon-copy.

I really like the hammered Al parts. They really make your Mag unique.

Most of the hammer fininshing was done with a ball-peen hammer. I used a punch for the bodyrail beacause it is easier to place accurately so that I could achieve a good dent with a few lighter hits to the same place. It takes longer than the hammer but is less likely to warp the rail and throw off the spacing between body an grip frame.
Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm glad you like it!
