ION or E-MAG

Guys, I really want an electro and I am looking towards an ION. Yep, I want one that badly. The only way I could possibly not get an ION is if I had $400 extra dollars. But where could I get $400 extra dollars? Hmmm... I KNOW!!! Automags.org, where the community is always willing to divert a crisis which is about to befall a fellow AGD fan. So I guess I'm going to need $400 dollars, guys. I want an E-mag. Come on fellas, I know you hate IONS that much. HELP ME.... I GOT PAYPAL.

This is a joke right? But if u r serious i would get a pnuemag or convert to a spydermag. There are many ways to getting around an ion. Or look on ebay a few weeks ago some1 got a nice x-mag for 460$ and he got a hopper and nitrous tank. PLZ dont get an ion.

when you spend over 1500 to make a scenrio automag then find out that half the stuff is useless on the field. write a review about it all just to save thousands of other people hundreds of dollars with my findings then maybe somebody donate something to you. since i didn't get anything for my input to this forum why should you buy a ion it will make you happy. or buy a mechanical automag.

My friend who is in the USMC tells me that the M16 and other guns that he shoots are not all that great and tend to break at times. I used to wonder why terrorists choose the wood and steel AK47 over other guns. Well now I know why.

As far as the ION goes, I have shot one and the internal components do shoot well. Not the best but they are not bad. The problem lies in reliability and the cheapness factor that was put into the ION to make it affordable. If they would have spent the same research and time into using the same type of materials they used to make a glock I promise you they would not be $199.00. Also, this might sound slimmy, but it is advantageous to make a gun needing upgrades. That one $199.00 ION is a cash cow for the upgrades that it needs, and unlike other guns it really does need upgrades to function. My friends ION was leaking and so forth and he has now spent $500.00 to make it hang with the other Electros. My Emag cost me $500.00 + 100 for the Xmod and it takes a big crap on my friends Ion that ended up being more expensive.

Tell your friend to talk to his armorers if his weopons are broke. Generally the most common reason any small arm in the USMC's arsenal to go down is because it is dirty. Then in that case it would be your buddies fault for not caring for his rifle.

Maybe the M8, the M16 is all metal. The older M16's used during vietnam were junk, but the newer updated encased bolt styles are extremely rugged.


Anyway, you could get a hyper-framed mag or spydermag and save a boat load, now it might cost you a tad more than an Ion, but it would be worth it.

Not so. The early M16 got a bad rap of not functioning killing alot of GIs, but it wasn't due to the rifle itself. The gas tube of a M16 needs to be clean for it to cycle. In Vietnam they used powder they were using for machine guns at the time, in the ammo for the M16. This powder clogged the M16s gas tube. Once that was figured out the new powder performed in the rifle without problems. Too bad the government couldn't have done some more R&D before they killed some of our own! The M16 is a fine rifle. I learned to like and respect it when I served.

Actually it's a polymer, it's not ceramic. If it was fully ceramic, it'd break if it was dropped. Neither of my posts were directed at you, but since you decide to make it personal, I'll tell you to grow up and do some research before you open your big mouth. According to the Glock website, they don't even use the word "ceramic" when describing their firearms. Her's soem quotes:

Cermaics are actually alot tougher than you think, car manufacturers have been looking at ceramics for along time as an alternitive towards aluminum and cast iron as engine blocks.

My ION

Here's a picture of my ION. Notice the lack of plastic. In fact, notice the addition of Kevlar. Also, the barrel is ceramic. I think that ties this in nicely with this thread. On a side note, the color is showing a tad pink in the picture, but is really gloss red.

terrorist used ak47's because the U.S.S.R used these weapons and they were eventually sold to terrorist groups, we use m16's, actually M4's now, because they are more accurate and easy to maintain

they, they used AK's because of there design. the parts are so loosely put together, that grains of sand which would jam other guns, fall right through it, do to this however, they are not the most accurate guns.
