      << Ok, what is a Beemer? >>

Thank you for asking. The Beemer is a special and unique paintball player of the variety known as S.O.B.s. The Beemer is a curious critter that wanders onto various paintball fields from time to time - usually Paint Ball Sams. Unlike the AGD, who is rarely seen if it is cloudy - except at VIP indoor events, the Beemer can be seen and loudly heard in almost any weather. The Beemer can be heard for miles and long into the night. It is highly recommended that one wear head phones when taking long trips with the Beemer.

The Beemer can always be spotted at the Big Games at Sams on the first weekend of May and October. The Beemer use to go to this event to judge. However, in recent years the trend has been to judge and play. NOTE: You must be quick and pay special attention, because the Beemer is known to slink away without notice from events and even parties. The Beemer never says "goodbye," but rather quietly disappears into the night.

Currently, the Beemer has been attempting to revive an ancient relic known as "the S.O.B.s." The Beemer is trying to collect as many S.O.B.s as possible to meet in Madison on June 10th. There have been over 60 S.O.B.s who have played paintball since the early 80s. Today, most of them are domesticated and therefore slow and easy to catch - especially this one. But, when caught, even quick S.O.B.s are extremely difficult to motivate, any more. In fact, some S.O.B.s have never been motivated. So, it is difficult to assess how successful the Beemer will be at gathering this group together.

                I seen a Beemer once

I seen the Beemer once. It was a foggy morning and the sun had just started to lift the morning haze. Then before I knew it. There it was. The infamous Beemer. Slowing, mythodiocaly prawling up the trail to where it would rest for the day before it long ride back to the den. With the speed of squirrel on a double expressor late' he sprung from the car and said " Hey, is breakfast ready yet?" That was the last I seen of him. Once in a blue moon I happen to catch a glimps of him. I think its him.
Oh my god Beamer! Has it been 16 years since we gripped those first mags in Illinois? I am still waiting for my Sluggo to arrive. Remeber how the barrels use to sing with the crown points. I hope to see you up in Madison for the 2 day scenario at the 2 diffrent fields. June 24th and 25th. "Operation Torch and the Battle for Kassarine Pass" This seems to be the year everybody wants to do North Africa. I like the poster of the Splat Patrol with Tom driving. The tanks are starting to line up to attend. The week before might be an SOB reunion I herd?

                          Hey Tom,

Good to hear from you, too. You still doing Bob Chin's?

I haven't shot my mag since World Cup 2000, when Swarm called me to fly to Orlando as a pick-up player. The only game we won was when Chip Kuhrt and I were the last players on the field by shear attrition. The best team in our division was a bunch of 20 year old kids and we maxed 'em - I don't think we had anyone on the team that wasn't over 50. Boy were those kids pissed. But, we had a blast and so did the bystanders in the bleachers.

We didn't know if anyone was left, because the last bunker guy had snuck off the field after a huge firefight. Chip wanted me to count the guys in the dead box, but I couldn't see that far. He was asking how much time we had left and I was yelling I didn't have my reading glasses on, so I couldn't see the watch. Then he wanted me to run down and get the flag and I yelled I had done too many drugs in the 60's. The audience was laughing on their backs. And the funniest thing was the other team was jumping mad in that dead box, watching two chubby old men eating up the clock like some slapstick comedy performance. Chip finally got the flag as I covered him by unloading my entire hopper on the empty bunker. Man that was fun.

Anyway, I see we have awakened another former AGD president, John Dale. If you can convince him to come out to Shatner, I will rinse the cobwebs out of my mag barrel.

Anyone know the date for this?
