    Spectrum paintballs

    Hi,

I just bought some cases of Spectrum paintballs from Canadianpaintball.com.

Anyone here who already tried them ?

    I got them for 47$CAD/case.

    Thanks

I've been told they make good paint..but they sponser the series i play so we have to shoot their paint..and it is by far the WORST i have ever shot, specailly for 60 a case!!!...its soooooo small it rolls right through the smallest freak insert...most of the time it shoots pretty straight but shoot for the goggles, gun or pods something hard because it doesnt like to break....i dont like it, not enough fill, too small, too hard, and doesnt shoot for ****..just my 2 cents..and yay i get to shoot it saturday...im just gonna save 20 bucks and buy there lowest grade everyone says it shoots jus as good if not better, ooh and their V1 they make stayaway from that too...well all their paint for that matter!! and this wasnt a one time expeirence...and not just me but 15 + other people as well...but 40 a case is good for spectrum..and now im just rambling so im done..goodluck hope it works good for you.

ok, I'll let everyone know how it performs.

Most of the time I shoot XBall Bronze, I hope they'll be about the same performance.

Ive shot xball..think it was bronze maybe silver and the spectrum is no where near any of the xball paint..and the sad part is the spectrum in one of their higher quality paints..maybe you'll get lucky and get a good batch idk...goodluck with it though

I measured the bore size with a micrometer, xball bronze gives me .689 and spectrum .675 so yeah it's a small bore paint.

I'll give it a go sunday.

I tried to paint and since I don't have a barrel kit with different bore size aiming was a little harder but the quality itself is pretty nice for the price. The roundness was fine, breaks on target not in the gun, the fill is not bright enough but I don't care.

            I'm 95% satisfied but with a barrel kit I'd be 100%.

I finally shot some decent paint made by X.O. industries, spectrum sucks still but there menace is actually good tournament paint, it has an actual shell instead of that rubber crap, shoots straight (the spectrum did too), and actually breaks stuff is actually good, matter of fact it was all sold this weekend...anyway atleast it worked for you, i guess rec ball spectrum wouldnt be too bad but i had to shoot it in a tournament and it affected everyone greatly..
