    Disconnecting macroline.

Uh. Crap. I have my adjustable tank hooked up to my mag. The problem : There's still pressure going in so I cant disconnect the macro. Little help?

If your tank has an on/off then turn it. If not you will have to either run it out of air or turn the pressure down to zero.

Unscrew the field strip screw, rotate the valve a lil till the on/off vents. Dont fully take it out untill it is done depressurizing, or else you may get an airborne on/off pin. Ive been in your situation before.

see this is the problem with level 10 and the adj tank :) sorry bud, you are going to have to use the method described above, or your going to have to cut some macro. after this, pick up a quick disconect, or the more prefered, and more expensive pro connect, or switch to a preset.

I ended up taking off the valve. Caught the on off bit, so that was a plus.

I believe I am going to have to get a preset, I love abusing the 800+ input psi but the convenience would be nice.

When this happened to my flatlined 'mag I just took the good old leatherman to the air fitting. Using the needlenose end of it, I was able to push the fitting in enough for the line to pop out. It allows you to get a bit of a better grip and you can push the fitting in. You dont have to squeeze the hell out of it.

Id recommend getting the proconnect and ditching the macroline and putting in some nice heatshrunk SS line.
