Thank you hobbes. I did have my eye on a few used E-Mags because I always wanted a mag with that much speed. But I've heard that they are heavy and kinda outdated. Seems selfish as I am using an old school Minimag .

I have seen a few Tequila Sunrise and also a Tequila Matrix for sale. Are they worth paying the extra penny for that pretty milling and whatever other features come with it?

I'd skip older the old Matrix. The bolt kit isn't nearly as streamlined and they have a bulky feel. Since money isn't an issue, this would be a better option...

I dont know how to convince you not to waste extra $350 on DM6 and get Cyborg 06 insted.

I can tell you just that. I got one 06 cyborg and I am selling xmag to get second 06 cyborg.

The only differences between DM6 and Cyborg 06 are design and price. They are basicaly operate the same but you pay only $975 for Cyborg.

Here's the MacDev website. 06 Cyborg

I've never taken apart a Cyborg but don't they use a ram? I'm pretty sure they aren't like spoolers.

The DM6 shoots smoother than anything else out there but the Cyborg is pretty quick. It's hard to explain but I also feel the same thing in Egos. They just feel more snappy but this may be due to the bolt. A plus for the Cyborg is that it can get almost a case off a 68/45. Even after wrapping several layers of tape around the tophat of your DM6, you'll only be getting 1200. The only reason I didn't get a Cyborg is because they aren't as popular. If I happen to break something on my DM6 while I'm at the field (not much to break though), there will be plenty of people there that will probably have a parts kit.

                Or you could buy both....

That is the only reason why people keep buying DM6. Cause everyone buys 'em. Lots of pro-teams use 'em. Ofcourse australian Cyborg 06 got less chances to be noticed. I mean MacDev got only 2 official stores in USA.

As of kick I can tell you that there are almost no kick at all. I mean marker weight is only 2 lb. And to remove this "ALMOST" you can install delrin light wight ram kit (drop in instalation) and get rid of the kick completely. Maintanace. Oil for bolt, lube for Ram. That is all.

But all this a side. Main point is that stock Cyborg 06 will cost you $975 and you dont need to upgrade anything. And it comes in a nice gun case, with perfect 2-piece color matching barrel.

Cyborg 06 is the better value for money than DM6.

Mac Dev also sells a spares kit, so aquiring parts wouldn't be hard. You can't really go wrong with a DM, Ego, Angel, Cyborg, Timmy. Just remember to skip Smart Parts stuff.

Alrighty!! Thanks for all the help guys. It's always good to hear a bunch of personal opinions from people who actually own the guns they are talking about. I'm most likely going to go with the DM6, but my second choice would be a Cyborg, that seems like a good deal, popular or not. I still have researching to do, but on a smaller more in depth scale. Wooo .

                        i say get a trix.

either a pm5 or pm6 or dm4/5/6 you will like them.

then if you got money left over, pick up a promaster for a back up.

edit*: i own a pm5 w/ stiffi, twist lock feedneck, M5 software, lucky bolt. and i love it, ill probably pick up a trigger, and be done w/ it. it shoots awsome, and trix's are wayyy better with maintanance(sp) than they used to be. just lube up the bolt with some hater sauce and your good to go.

i plan to get a promaster after using many, and i am anti smart parts, and their ion looks like a nerf guns. plus, promasters are very light, and very fast. i am impressed with icd on this gun. i cant wait to pick one up. and as both my pm5 and the promaster take cocker threaded barrels, i will just move the stiffi over when i use the promaster.

but i got my pm5, with halo, for 500 shipped, and im not dissapointed. it shoots very smooth and a few ounces do not matter to me so im probably not going to get a pm6.
