question for those with zgrips, warps, and an endo drop...

I just put my minimag body, warpfeed and endo drop with my zgrip and cant seem to get make the warp feed feel comfortable. I have lukes reverse foregrip extender on which puts the bottom of my foregrip real close to the bottom of my zgrip, this makes it uncomfortable when I have the warp feed angeled becuse with the angle the warp feed is slightly infront of the foregrip.. When I tried mounting the warp parellel with the gun, I have to reach around the warpfeed with my arm to get a hold of the foregrip which isnt comfortable at all. I think if the warpfeed was an inch or 2 inches back and angeled it would be perfect...

Any of you with warped zgrips have any suggestions? I am using the stock mounting bracket also...

Can you post or send me some pictures of the setup? Is the main problem the FG?

I would guess that you need a straight or 15* forward FG, or perhaps a Warp mount that moves the warp backwards.....

If I remember correctly, Lukes Warp bracket helped with my old set up. Before the purchase of the bracket I had to hold on to the warpfeed instead of the foregrip do to it being uncomfortable. Here is a couple pics of my old set up, does your warp sit a little more forward then mine did? Then again I wasn't using an endo drop, Lukes offset rail was they way to go for me.

I will post some pictures tomorrow. I am not sure if a straight extender will work or not. I have a 15* forward extender I can try on it though...

I will compare your pictures to mine tonight and let you know, thanks for the pictures. I want to say that mine is farther forward either way I tried it

With the angel of your warp, can you rest your forearm on the warp and grab the foregrip and still be comfortable?

yes i could, it was really nice.

it felt like i was holding a ball that i could mow people over with. but it was a heavy ball and i got rid of it... still have my z grip though.

Well the reverse 15* feels great without the warp, looks like I will have to get a straigt one for when I am using my warp on it. Does anyone know if the Kapp foregrip extender is longer then lukes? From looking at pictures it apears that the Kapp version is longer...

Yes the Kapp is longer but will require a little milling to fit your Z Frame set up I believe.

yeah you gota notch a space for the trigger guard to fit.... If only luke made his zgrip extenders a little longer..

I will try my forward 15* foregrip extender tonight and see how that works out.

I wonder if my Warp Forward bracket would work mounted "backwards" with the endo drop. (?)

                        This one>>>>

My main concern is that it's designed to move the Warp close to the marker (and forward). What I'm thinking is, the Endo drop may move the tank out of the way for the Warp to be moved back, but I'm not sure.

Also, this FGX is not far enough forward?

here are some pictures I just took this morning. I have to wait until im at work to upload them, or else I would of done it sooner.

Be warned, these are some big pictures! I dont have time to resize them right now...

Luke, my warp should clear with your warp forward bracket reversed, the onlything that concerns me is the fact I use a egg hopper. Also, I honestly dont know if your fgx is far enough forward or not, its hard to say without it in my hands, which is why I started this thread.

I can't be certain either. But by moving the Warp backwards, it will give your forearm some relief while holding the FG.

It's a bummer I don't have those parts to set it and try it out for you...
