Unfortunately Action Village no longer has any VELOCITY LOCKS in stock. Anybody know a place that has something in stock?

I couldnt believe it the first time I read the rule. I never thought about changing it either.

I agree with you, but I do not want to give the refs a reason to even remotely disqualify my team. If I can slap a locking device on there, that will give them a little bit more security, and they wont be eagle eying me as much. if I can't find anything, I will just have to have a talk with the refs and show them that it is not possible for me to adjust my velocity.

I've done it before, just for testing reasons

We're talking 1991 technology here -- back then you had 10 minutes to wander around the woods and futz with your marker before you ever found anyone to shoot anyway.

My local paintball store still has a few kicking around in different styles and colors. Paul is the owner, he's a good guy:

It's quite easy if you have an inline on-off on your air line or a quick on-off ASA. Just turn off the air, shoot a couple of shots, then rotate the adjuster with your thumb. It will turn quite easily. Then turn the air bakck on. After the game, do the same and turn it back down. The process of adjustment only takes a couple of seconds.

This was with a level 7 valve. I never tried a level 10 valve, though.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I can bench like 350lbs with a grip like a gorilla, but I can not turn it up even with no air. Dummies otta carry a allen wrench hidden in their glove.
