I have never had any issues with miniregs...well to be fair that is slightly untrue as the IR3 Angel was a POS but that applied to the entire marker as it was put together by someone on piece work, a full strip down and rebuild was needed on about 80% of them to get them to perform properly. But because something can be removed immediately creates the myth of an item being bad, the minireg was a perfect example of this. The LED had a unique Minireg and to drag over users of Autocockers who already had their favourite inline reg they (WDP) changed the Flash tank to take any Minireg, if they hadn't done this the LED would have stalled on the sales front. Rumour and belief in such things persist so that most people will dump the minireg, you could pull up recharge rates etc but they are rarely applicable to the pressures actually used when really playing paintball but they make for great marketing
I actually used the first WDP minireg on my Autococker and this was before the LED was even created, these were sold under the Govnair label, I had zero problems with it no leaks wierd spikes nothing.

I have been very happy with the consistancy and reliability of the miniregs on every Angel I have owned. All have been the LP platform and have performed very well.

Thats one thing I really like about an Angel. They are expensive, but out of the box it needs nothing to perform as well as designed.
