wow, you really are ignorant arent you? hell, i can garauntee dw is much more in the black than agd is. Knowing Colin, this thing is probabally more advanced, and more reliable than anything agd has ever put out, its probabally even easier to take care of.. also look at that profile, im willing to bet it sits lower than most mags.

I just wish it was a true spooler, but im interested in the design, this is for sure.

edit, btw why the hell would colin sink more money into a dead market? i can garauntee you that a frame like this one, will not be available for a mag, unless it is a custom job, so stick to the intelliframe, as its the best .45 you are going to find.

That looks a LOT like the custom merlin that gu is making, the one where he converted the logic frame to fit, sent it off for TONS of custom work...

Now we're the ones that know more than most.

I saw the prototype at the PB expo in Pomona in February. It is incredibly lightweight. It's probably the lightest gun i've ever seen. Nicad showed me how the anti-chop works, it's pretty clever. I read that it can shoot 33 bps with a qloader, and it's still just a prototype.

        This gun will rock!

its already highly surpassed mags in terms of cycles per second.

Also remember that 33 bps on a mag is not just something you can flip a switch and do.

Its not a matter of how you do it, its that it can be done.

thats like saying my piece of junk car is REALLY fast and can reach 200+ mph......if i strap rockets to it.

If you cant reach a speed with your average, every day, ready to go play setup, then, there is no point in claiming that speed.

But when are you going to need 33-34bps in every day play?

So let me get this right.

It weighs under one pound. Fairly impressive although I'm sure if I took everything off my DM6 and milled the heck out of it I could probably drop a few ounces. Still, props to Deadlywind for this.

It can cycle 54 times a second. Great, it does 15.4 and more. This is more of a noob selling point.

It has a mechanical antichop feature. Eh, thumbs down. I like eyes. Unless this thing proves to be flawless it will never become as big as Timmys, DM's, or Egos.

The milling is just downright ugly. Yeah, they chopped off a ton of weight but I could have made something better with a Dremel.

Does this thing actually have a board in it or is it pneumatic?

This reminds me of the Isis. I'll put my money on it won't go anywhere unless there's some big secret DW is hiding from us.

it still is a bragging point. http://www.deadlywind.com/files/misc/83cps.wav

The prototype doesn't have eyes. Eyes will come later.

Again, this is the prototype. Do you think deadlywinds would give you something ugly? Plus everyone has their own opinion about aesthetics.

if there isn't any patent problems, then I'm sure DW will bring this to market. It has better stats then most highend guns.
                            Does that help?

i tried to analyze the 83 cps clip in sound forge to determine whether or not it was actually 83 cps, and theres no way i can count the peaks.. it just goes way too fast for the audio.. heres a screenshot..

EDIT: i think i counted 43 in around a half second, so it very well could be..
