an idea (not asking AGD to make anything new) that might look cool

I'm not sure if this has been produced yet but i was just kinda looking at my power feed, and what other variations you could make with it. What if you could make a powerfeed that is on the center of the body, so that it points towards the barrel, leaving the body at a 45* angle (same os the left/right power feeds) if i do not make sense.. MAYBE the pics will... its done in paint, so bare with it!!

the question is... if this was made, what would you think of it?? and how do you think it would work?
(this is not another idea for AGD.. just in case)

I think in paint, there is a stretch/skew option... Stretch it to 50% of its original size...

          Power Feed Plug...

It would not be able to come out due to it hitting against the main body.

I think that you have that same sorta idea as the old school RT's With the swept (SP) powerfeeds.(If not, sorry) Didnt work too well and AGD stopped making them. But very good idea though.

                  Another paint trick

Try doing a SAVE AS and save it in *.JPG format, then you can post it directly into the thread and it will show.

Interesting concept, but really doesn't have that much advantage over the standard centerfeed body. I think that the powerfeed only feeds another ball per second over the centerfeed anyway...

I would really miss my powerfeed plug. When I break a ball, I turn the plug, stop the balls from feeding, dry fire several times, put my hand over the end of the barrel, fire a couple more to blow out the holes in the barrel, and then turn the powerfeed on again.

It has to be at 90* for powerfeed to work.

                      .

but if it was 90*, it would be a center feed...

With a setup like that, it looks like the balls would get blown up the tube more. When footemps said 90*, I think he was refering to how the powerfeed goes across the gun. You need something for the balls to bounce off of(the top of the pf), and with your design I dont think that would work.

It does look like it might work with the halo pretty good though. That setup might help eliminate the ball bobble that the center feed guns, while still keeping them centerfed.

It needs to be tangent to the mainbody....that's what he means by 90 degrees. Not the angle.

it technically is tangent. It might work if it brought the feed back instead of forward. I can definately see how that could work, except feeding. I dont thing the ball would feed into the gun very easily.

And the word you were looking for was perpendicular.
