I guess i understand how you feel. I will also be at Skyball with my emag. If you want to see what a good emag shoots like i will let you rip on mine all day(but i'll have to shoot your angel of course ). I have also thought at times to give up and buy a different gun. But i didnt and am glad now.

It's your choice and i guess i will say good luck with your Angel and if i play you at skyball get ready to have your butt handed to you.

          IMHE...

          In my humble expereience...

Its not the gun its the barrel. Find a good one and the e-mag will bring you through a whole day shooting the crappiest paint without any chops or breaks.

Aftermarket barrel manufctuers oftentimes dont build thier barrels to AGD specs.

Also try the new plastic nubbins.

          Barrels on my crapper list...

Smart Parts Progessive- horrible broke one in 5 shots.
Dye Boomstick 12 inch- broke paint like mad.

          Barrels that are good.

Dye boomstick 14 incher- i know this and the 12 are the same but this barrel probably "lucked" its way into specification during manufacure.

Taso Pro series 8.5 inch- My favorite launcher tube. I played in coram last month during a blizzard. I broke less paint than shocker, impulses, and matrixes. My roomate played with his palmerized cocker that smae day and he was breaking one in 50 shots.

Lapco Bigshot- Average. Good if I feel like working out, this stainless peice is HEAVY. You wont get breaks as long as the bore of the paint is smaller than the barrel.

The plastic nubbins also does wonders.

I thought boomstick was a small bore barrel? well anyway yeah the barrel just makes a huge difference

J&J 2piece and 1 piece - have had great experiences with these 2 barrels

lapco autospirit- great experience with inferno and hellfire... bad experience with marbs but this was during the time that they were producing them bigger then usual for some reason....

              And...

Get your hands on a working e-mag. It will impress you. I have played with an angel before. IMHO it dosent compare to my e-mag. It is smaller, more compact, the trigger is better IMHO, and it gives me confidence that every time I gas it up it will work.

Boomsticks come in a multitude of bores. Both of mine were .689 One for some reason worked beter than the other.

I thought i was the only one that liked this barrel. Cheap but highly effective.

i'll be there, all the way from south alabama.
i still don't know what gun i'll be shootin?
prolly my angels, but i got a shocker comin in. and for some reason, i don't know why, and it don't make sense at all for a front player but i love the feel of shockers, ever since my 1st one(too bad it never worked..)

if your havin too much trouble w/ your e-mag, then the paintball gods are tryin to let your know it's just not the gun for you, for some it is....

Thats not a 2002 Angel that they are really advertising, its the newest milling on a 2001 LCD. Its called the apollo milling. They just call it the 2002. Ask WDP if you tend to disagree. I just bought my angel from them a few months back so I know. I've shot the Emag and of course angels. I'm not biased about guns like many others here are so I wont tell you that Emags rule and angels suck. I honestly was taken back when I shot the Emag. It was smooth and a totally different feel from my angel...I liked it a lot. But I like my Angel best. I even shoot my friends Black Magic cocker from time to time and still like the Angel best. He does too because he always asks to trade guns for a few games. Angels arent for everyone so before you cash in your chips you should really try one out. If I were you I would keep that Emag. Send it in and have it tuned and I guarantee you it will run like a champ.
