I haven't played in quite a while. I sold all my stuff that was just sitting around and kept the bare minimum that I needed (which, in retrospect, I should have done long ago anyway) and what wouldn't sell. I've still got my Mag and a Spyder I picked up as a loaner.

I don't play much anymore since the fields around here suck. My original hangout closed up shop about three years ago, after which I went to a great place run by a couple guys who started it so people would have somehwere decent to play that didn't cost an assload. Well, needless to say, they got bought out and long story short, it's now run by PBC. Due to all the "improvements" they've made (meaning now we have an X ball and a dirt field instead of the old setup, which was a ten-man hyperball, five-man hyperball, wall ball and airball courses) the air and field fees have doubled and tripled respectively, and no one hangs out there other than tourney players. That doesn't bother me so much as the fact that they only play on their own teams and only scrimmage other teams, so it's damn near impossible to get a walk-on game going.

I haven't played in over a year but I aspire to again play one day, maybe... Why visit AO though? Because I like it, still have interest in paintball, and besides my AO subcription is paid up through the end of the year

I have played 2 games this year and under a dozen last year.

I keep coming back probably mostly out of habit. But in general this is a good forum with a lot of good people.

I like to keep up to date on equipment still and you normally get a no BS review.

Last time I played was back in November.

I went from every week to once every few months.

Why? $, fiancee, growing up, tourney ball not being as fun as it used to.

I still play, albeit 3-4 times a year. I am addicted to gun tech. I love the guns more than I do actually playing. Booya.

I play at least once a week. I go out of my way to play...No excuses.

But what I do I do because I like to do.

After 20 years, there isn't that urgency to play every week.

I haven't played in quite awhile. But that is due to illness (not mine), and I should be able to play again soon. Now it's schedules...

I don't play anymore, I also don't have a real reason to come here.

I noticed that my playing almost ceased as soon as I bought my mags. I spent more time tinkering with them than playing and buying different components, I spent all my Paintball money on gun parts.

Now I'm lucky if I get out once in two months.

I stopped playing because things started to get ridiculous and the amount of money I uesed to spend in the sport was enough to get me thinking. Also, I've found other things to keep me busy which is just as enjoyable. For me, it's just a change of lifestyle that happens in everyone's lives.

As to why I come here...habit. Also, to stay somewhat informed with the PB world in case I may rediscover the sport again. Last time I played was about 2 months ago...before that, maybe 1.5 years ago.

I play about every 2 weeks, I'd play every week, but my wife would frown upon it.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
