Hey everyone, I want to ask a question and get some of your opinions since you are all the experts. I sold my emag a few months ago and got a karnivor (please don't kill me!). I regret selling my emag and I am thinking of getting one again and selling the karni. Now here is where my problem lies, Should I spend the extra bucks to get an xmag? I think they look alot better, but esentially to me they look like basically the same gun. I know the xvalve is lighter, and I love the looks of the body on an xmag, but what really makes the xmag worth so much more?
xmag vs emag

Don't forget they are somewhat rareish. And they cost more to produce, because they are cnc machined. -
tell me about it, even my emag, I had the only one in the city where I live at least that I knew of. Many peopel know nothing about them, and they were amazed when I told them that you can switch the power off turn on the manuel and still rips things up.Comment

Emag
Well the Xmag has ACE and the Emag doesnt.Originally posted by Gunther_mag_userDon't forget they are somewhat rareish. And they cost more to produce, because they are cnc machined.
There are quite a few peeps on AO that have both markers.
They are probably better informed than I am, but I'm going to say my opinion anyway.
First of all whatever you get, buy the Xmod software.
If you keep fresh batteries in the Empire B you wont chop in an Emag even though
it has no eyes.
Xmod software here:

Since I got it on my Emag....well lets just say the 06 Ego is now for sale. It rips !
But I have never bought an Xmag because I dont like the fact you are stuck with the body
and feedneck.
Cant upgrade and change feednecks. Or bodies. Or rails.
You can on an Emag.
I have the Exile body/Reds Cam Lock feedneck.Tunarail. Tunablade trigger. Tunapack battery. And I'm thinking about putting a Karta body on it. Options you have with an Emag that you dont with an Xmag.
I am totally sold on Emags since I got the Xmod software.
That being said theres an Xmag on Ebay now for 800.00 :

I just prefer Emags. I got mine from Tunaman. PM him. Get all his custom upgrades.
He knows his stuff.

personally id rather have an emag because id be scared to hurt the Xmag, and because the emag is more customizable. the Xmag is basically not changable, but the emag just about everything has an alternate. for example, the emag body, rail, feedneck, can be changed, on the Xmag, i dont know about feedneck with the changable breaches and all, but i thought the body/rail were one peice sorta like the micromag. and i THINK emags are lighter, or could be made to be lighter(i wouldnt dare have an xmag milled)
/rcorrect me if im wrong, because im no expert on this stuffComment

OK now its the Xmod
I would tell anyone that has an Xmag or Emag that hasnt got the Xmod software yet,Originally posted by phizzokay just bought that xmag off ebay. I decided to get rid of my hyperframe, and the karni and manybe some hp tanks. Thanks alot for your guys input.
its a must have.
Play with it a few times without it, and then put the software on it.
Its like getting a new marker.
NXL, PSP modes, full auto...its worth the money.

X-Mag has the unbreakable on/off switch... litterally a godsend.
X-Mags have reflective eye sensing, came stock with an X-Valve and Lvl 10 but not true to the brand new emags being made out of excess parts
Gun: AGD eMag with LvL10
Cars: 1991 Lexus LS400. 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda 440-4, Auto, 1 of 816. 1970 Dodge Challenger 318 S/E, soon to be a 440-6 with a 5 speed, and painted Sublime greenComment

unbreakable lol mine broke twice
the eyes suck so bad you cant use them
An x-mag is a pretty emag nothing more. I loved mine when I had it but IMO not worth the extra cost over a Xvalve emag.
I see you bought one already. Lets see some pics"The Few Who Do Are The Envy Of The Many Who Only Stand And Watch"
