I don't get why most folks want the tank way forward in their set-up. I need to shoulder the back end of the tank for stability (and accuracy) Call me a rebel.

If i didn't just sell my Z-grip to prairie, i would have won this.
I had that Z grip and a kapp dz2, all the way forward. I was using a 68/45 geddon and the end of the tank didnt stick out the back at all. I was working with a 14" setup, thanks also to my 10" cp 2 pc.

I gotta try to find an old pic of it.

I have my Stubby setup just like you. It puts it in a nice place:)

Huge drops are lame, I am sad to say I too had one. If you notice everyone with high end guns has a short drop, I saw a sweet boxless F-5 w/o/ any drop. Most pros play with little or no drop as well.

Yeah, Russ, I'd have to agree. Now I have mine on just a shocktech drop

yeah i like the medium/short drops. The real tiny drops seem useless, and the real long ones on a mag at least seem too uncomfortable.

Hey it doesn't matter where the drop is for other people. What matters is that you like it. If you want it to look like a pro's gun, but don't take into consideration that you hate the way it feels, then you've got some problems . Use the drop that feels the best to you, it will make such a big difference in the long run. I am really small so I need a big drop for the tank to be ahead more so I can manuever around. But most pro's (Excluding Lasoya ) need little or no drop at all because they are full grown men, along with alot of paintball players.

So if I were a player, go for the drop that feels the best, it will help your game.

I know what you're going to say...."State of D art man"

Just kidding I saw the post and just had to come up with something. All I can say is that I will never try to shoot with it like this. It feels like a 10 pound bowling ball.:) I did however like the lightning running into the flames though.

i run both my guns strait to the bottom of the frame, its so uncomfortable to use a drop forward to me. i can't snap shoot at all, and i'm real small, only 15, about 5'5.

w/o a drop forward, i have more visability(don't have the back of the gun in my grill, the gun is small(maybe longer, but not as tall, using a drop forward makes the gun very tall. i can't use one at all. its all opinions though.

this is how i like'em here
