Ever hear of Pricewatch.com? Heres one for PAINTBALL.

    Alright guys.

I've found a great site, its still in its infancy, but growing like a weed.

    Its called www.PaintballNexus.com

They have Articles for the noobies, a Dictionary of paintball terms, a Link Exchange, Picture Gallery, and other features.

    - Forums too, but they're kinda dead...

But the BEST FEATURE YET is the PRICE FINDER

Pricewatch.com compares prices, and finds you the lowest one out there.

PaintballNexus.com compares prices, and finds you the lowest out there, BUT FOR PAINTBALL GUNS, GEAR, ACCESSORIES AND MORE.

Check it out, You'll find what you need, and get it cheap!

too bad everything is priced fixed in paintball anymore: Minimum advertised price or MAP so everything is the same price anywhere you go.

Why is that such a bad thing Richter? What that allows is the local shops to compete with the internet sites. I live in the 4th largest city in the US but there are only 2 proshops in town. There are a couple of fields who run somewhat of a proshop but it's usually on an order basis only. If it wasn't for MAP at least one of these shops would have shut down probably long ago. I'm still not real sure how they manage to stay in business, trying to compete with "stores" that don't have the overhead that they do.

Internet sales of paintball equipment have driven the prices down which is good from the consumer side. But it's also nice to have that local shop so you can stop by and pick up that last minute item you need when your marker breaks just before you leave for your planned outing.

I only order online anymore when that's my only hope. For normal things I buy them from the local shop or a field. I do my best to keep them around for when I really need them.
