    Tabi boots and Paintball?

Any one ever try it? Says they were designed to improve your foots gripping ability and traction. Plus they just look cool, would probably get alot of weird looks though. Just not sure if it would provide enough protection from rough terrain or if they are sturdy enough. Did a search and found nothing, any ways just a thought

Bates Ultra-lite stealth line tactical boots always did me great. i buy nothing but them and cant say enough good things about them, i ware 'em every day for everything. they arn't too bad, they run about $70 - my girlfriend works at acadimy sports and they have them for $65 or so. compaired to the high dollar $100 shoes, they are more comphy, more rugged and dourable, and are Lighter in weight! And WILL NOT slip! I was in NY this last winter and was walking on Ice with no diffaculty, the closest i came to slipping was gasoline spill in smooth concrete and even then not a problem. they also have an incert that helps with friction and I am cooler and my feet are happy, even in those 24/48 hour senario games.

Sorry for the long post, caffine overload and I herd boots and I just love these. by the way, what is a Tabi boot?

Tabi are wonderful foot wear but I wouldn't recomend them for paintball because they don't have any ankle support. The soft thin sole os great if you're planning on stalking someone and don't want to be heard, but if you're planning on moving quickly over rough terrain there is better foot wear available.

That being said I have seen it done, but the person was used to wearing them and moving quickly over different types of terrain. For you to just put on a pair and start running through the bush, well you may find that you don't like them. You're more than welcome to try it, but bring something else to wear just incase you change your mind.

For those that don't know what Tabi are. They are a style of foot wear worn by ninja, primarily.
