Perfect! I wasn't sure if he ever directly said it or if the community had said that. There's some great specualtion about it's operation over the the Tinker's Guild v2.

actually, guys, if you just looked at the pictures you could tell that it CANT be a stacked tube poppet valve marker. look at the gap he milled between the upper and lower tubes. theres no way you can connect the bolt to the ram.

and, looking at the gripframe, im guessing that the noid is not in and does not extend into the frame. you cant tell for sure since theres no pictures of the solenoid or the frame after it was further milled (to accept the trigger), but that would be my speculation. Im guessing the solenoid is in the lower tube. it could either be a 3-way valve or just a regular solenoid controlling a poppet valve. the bolt could then be... well, any number of designs, actually. now im interested in knowing what he actually went with.

thats... a picture. and not that great of one anyway, sorry. there was a nice GIF i saw a while ago, though.

Rudz, a solenoid controlling a poppet valve is very similar to an MQ valve. they both achieve the same thing, a flow of pressurized air for a period of time. my guess is he didnt use an MQ valve, because that would probably require royalties. there are plenty of other options for a solenoid controlled valve.

please, PLEASE do NOT put a 15* asa on the thing stock, most ballers hate them to begin with and wouldnt put on as an aftermarket part, much less appreciate one as a stock part.

WOW. I designed something like that about a year ago. Never made one though... but mine still does a trick that, that one does not do.

I think that a solenoid in the bottom will act like a 3-way and the bolt instead will be the ram. A stacked spool valve perhaps?
