    what do the different # of stars mean on the valves?

      They used to represent how many times you could send it into AGD for a warrenty repair. When you use one they drill it out.
      I dont know if they still use that system or not.

          Yeah, if you stll have a star on the valve they will still service it. It's $20 for shipping and handling to do it though.
