Would it be possible to stain wood grips to match an acid washing type anodizing job ? Plain would be fine but the more unique the better in my book

It may be, but it would not be easy. I think it would actually work better to pick one of the colors in the anno job and go with that.

Yeah, that road salt is really harsh on those paintball gun grips.....
