okay, iv got a stiletto drop by FBM and a shocktech on/off, and this is a first for me even looking at dovetail mounts i know its just suposed to slide in and then screw tight but the shockteck on/off isnt even fitting on the drop... are their diffrent sizes? if not, what am i doing wrong

You need a Shocktech drop brother I tried the same thing it wont fit.

shocktech likes to be different and most if not all of dovetail mounts will not fit anyone else's products.
