What is a good price for a micro body. A friend said he would sell me his body for $120. With no barrel. Don't hate me but I also shoot a cocker and like the idea of being able to use the same barrels. Also I would like to know if the ball detent is replaceable?

yep
yeah. you can replace and repair the ball detent pretty easy. There is a little more to maintain on the micromag, but the profile is SOOOO much smaller and you can get in tight on bunkers. I love mine.. enjoy."Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."

uhh, no. Depending on the year body you get, the ball detent may not come off. Newer style ones come with a built in ball detent, older one screw on and off. There is no difference in upkeep WHATSOEVER! Alls it is is a different body, no difference in maintenance. Also, it is not noticibly smaller then a regular body, the only real difference is it's cocker threaded and it is made out of aluminum.Comment

maintain
My ball detent comes out, and there is a little more work with the ball detent. What i meant by there is a little more maintainence is this, you have to clean more parts on my micromag than my automag. The barrel and detent tend to get a little more paint in it on a ball break. Thats just my experience."Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
