Is it possible to have color changing anno?

I just got a revvy that in dim light becomes red but out in the sun it changes to being gold, and I was wondering if you can anno a marker to do that?

there is auroa(sp?) ano and its really hard to do but i think someone on the forum has found a way to do it... search for rainbow anodizing or something like that.

Impact PB in Edison NJ used to have custom Angels that looked different colors at different angles..... dont know it it was on purpose though :-)

the thing about aurora palting is you need alot of differnt density variations or it ends up a solid color

I think your revvy is a chameleon type, I used to have one and I thought it was pretty cool, it just didnt match any of my setup.

ye, dye had dm4's like this..and it adds a noticable amount of weight...and no i wont go work out!

I don't think it's quite the same as the aurora. All the pics I've seen of the aurora, you can see multiple colors at the same time when you look at it.
It's more like an iridecent paint job on cars. I saw one that when you looked at it one way it was white, and another it was pink. Quite ugly actually, but the lady said her husband owned a body shop and was trying different paints. From what I understand, that type of paint has metal flakes in it that are of a different color, and when you look at it right, the color shifts, or something like that...

I own an aurora cocker (lucky me) the best way I can describe the color pattern is like when you heat metal up or burn it, it has that oily iradescent wavey gloss finish.

As for the car thing, its just little crystals in the paint itself that reflect different shades of light depending on the angle of vieing and sunlight.

By the way, there is a line of fishing reels that uses a thin layer of titanium plating to achieve a very prominent prismatic effect. I think that Benchmade also used to use a similar plating on some of their knives, although the newer plating methods seem to generate more color than the older methods.

and liquid chrome yep you can use it on paintball masks
