Well, as long as it's just a patent sharing thing, I guessit's cool. It's not like SP will be running the company.

Nope MacDev just bought the rights. That's a relief. I thought Macdev was merging with SP for a second. That'd be absolutely retarded.

Really? I thought it would be kinda cool. Think about it. Macdev is known for it's quality parts. SP is know for it's reasonably priced markers that pack a punch. Plus they have the right to use produce spool valves. I wouldn't mind seeing what would happen if a Shocker was made to Macdev specs, would you?

But that's not what would happen. The first thing to go when dropping the price is quality. So what you would end up with is a cheap POS.

Not really. Macdev sold Cyborgs for $600 I believe? AKA's vendors were selling Vikings for about the same price once they were consider out of date.

Also, that would mean that Macdev wouldn't have a say in any of their new products. What you are describing is SP buying Macdez out, not merging with SP.

The Shocker doesn't need to be changed that mauch to be a top of the line maker. A bolt kit with tighter tolorences, Glad reg, clamping feed, maybe a Cyborg style trigger frame and you have a marker that is smaller than others for a affordable price.

Stock shocker are already 600$ as it is..... putting that stuff on it would raise the price to over 1000$ knowing SP...

That is the exact oppisite of that SP does. They make their equipment cheap but still competitive. And it wouldn't raise that price much at all. The frame wouldn't require much more aluminum to make. The Max-flo and Glad regs would cost about the same to produce. Really the only thing that you would be changing is the clamp on the feedneck.
