I saw an ad online for real action paintball and their markers use 'shelled balls', I was wondering if anyone knew anything about these guys or if they were some how related to get real paintball?
Any one know anything about these?

Looks like a bunch of marketing hype directed towards law enforcement places who don't know alot about paintball.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were identical to tippmanns internally. And just for reference, The AT series of markers are both clip and hopper fed guns. So this place does just seem like they're throwing a lot of hype around for a typical Milsim Marker. $700+ =

Real Action Paintball has been around for a few years.
Their m4 rifle is a clipped based marker that eject shells replicating the real deal. They were geared toward police/military personnel. Caliber is smaller than our standard .68 cal paintball.
They recently released a pump action .68 cal FN tactical shotgun and well as a .68 cal m4 which is clipped based similar to the ATs.
These guns replicate the look, feel and weight of its real life counterparts. My trader feedback

The "shelled balls" are just a piece of plastic around the paintball that gets ejected when the marker is shot to replicate a casing being ejected from the breech of a real gun. If you look under the section of the site where the .41 and .43 paintballs are there should be "shells" for sale as well.Comment

They also have metal casings. The pastic counterparts are biodegradable.Originally posted by ttinkThe "shelled balls" are just a piece of plastic around the paintball that gets ejected when the marker is shot to replicate a casing being ejected from the breech of a real gun.
