Understood, I wouldn't do anything in your shoes either, I just wasn't sure if that confidentiality was dependent on it's "release", and I thoroughly respect your integrity in doing so.

My choice to confidentiality is just that. My choice, I wasn't asked to do so or anything, and ultimately all the pictures and video that have come out, have been Bob's decision. It's out of respect and how I would have liked others to be on any work of mine that they have seen in progress. I try to main some element of integrity and professionality in paintball although it isn't always returned or seen elsewhere . I'd just feel wrong releasing such info before it was public domain. Which it will be very soon I expect...

Does the fact fact that the thread was discussed simultaneously over here change any of the facts. What if there had been no conspiracy posting over here, would it reaqlly have changed the thread over there?

The point is you were deliberating argueing over something that YOU had not seenp, but which the other person knew intimately and helped create. You went into that thread to start an argument.

I don't know who was really paying attention, but I was joking and having a little fun. If you read my posts carefully you won't have seen me:

-Spreading lies
-Generating rumors
-Attacking any individual or company (I may have said I had bad experiences, but that certainly isn't an attack in my mind)
-Encouraging flaming (not on PBN, and on here I only saw it as a joke-I don't think BigEvil was seriously trying to encourage anyone, or Rudz....Pneumagger, well yes-sorry Pneumagger, but at least I got a good laugh out of it )

My statements were based off of personal experience. I did ask some geniune questions. I said I would check it out since everyone seemed so hyped about it. I Pm'd Rippermachinist and thanked him for his offer to fix my torp and said I certainly wasn't going to argue with him.

Did the post get off-topic? Not as far as I thought? I unfortunately started out with cynicism "towards BL products because of my previous experiences with them. That may have been a bad way to start it up becasue I then felt defensive from everyone saying "get your eyes checked" (and I really do think it looks a heck of a lot like an Angel1).

I can get a new account in no time. I don't visit PBN often, and when I do it's usually the sale threads (because in there you never get into a debate about what something looks like at least ) I also don't feel the need to post much, so what do I care if I can't?

um, im not going to read through all of this crap, but from what I have read, summary an pneu are completely out of line. Oh tell me how a timmy is a spyder, or how the onyx is a spooler....... You are idiots. Clearly the onyx is NOT a spooler. Just because it sits in one tube, doesnt mean its a spooler... Is a tippman a spooler? NO. Is a mag a spooler? NO, close, but no. Neither is the freestyle. You can argue it is all you want, but look at the design, and you will realize, that NO it is not. It is close, but no cigar.

EDIT: SUmmary Judgement, you seem completely ignorant towards PBN. PBN is a great forum, it is the pulse of the industry, and actually influences the industry more than you can imagine. It is the largest paintball board, and i believe the 20th largest forum on the internet. It is a great resource and should be treated as so. If you dont want to use it, then fine, but dont go treating it like it is just immature kids because it isnt.

you are too funny... When was the last time AO had an intelligent and civilized conversation? Not since atleast 2003-early 2k4. SERRIOUSLY. Admit it. AO is not the best forum on the internet, it is not full of people who have the correct answer all of the time (not any more, they have all left) and now you are arguing with some of the smartest people in the industry, Ripper, and Manike. You see this is what some of you guys (and others) need to realise something.

To you it may just be "the internet for goodness sakes", but for others it is their life's work, their passion, how they support their families and much more that you are making an e-joke of and 'playing' with.

Imagine a total stranger walking in and seeing something you were doing at work and then proceeding to make fun of it, or telling you how it should be done etc. or arguing with you about how it works, and all 'just for the fun of it'.

In terms of grief, there was a bunch of reports on the posts some of you guys made, that the mods had to deal with, and there was some genuine frustration from some of the people trying to correct the intentional mistakes you guys were making as a joke and for fun, about an item they've been working on for months.

The internet may be a joke to some of you, but it's also a way that people can make hurtful comments that extend past the screen you see in front of you. Especially when it is something critical to someone's livelihood you are trying to play down or make into a laughing stock.

Not cool.

I guess maybe that doesn't matter to many.

People think that on the internet, their actions and comments don't matter. Well they do. Often more than they realise. I even think Tom lost some of his love/passion for paintball because of having to deal with posts on the internet, and people not realising how easy it was to hurt his feelings or lead him the wrong way with a 10 second throwaway post.
