there is no need to add another reg. all you'll succeed in doing is potentially starving the gun

The regulator is already built in to the gun. Adding a third (AIR and the tanks are already there) reg may starve the gun.

Like what everyone else said is good, but if you're looking to run c02, maybe an exp chamber or remote line.

If you are looking for a reg for cosmetic purposes then buy a foregrip. Those are cool, I have one. get one like this:

they look like a reg but they add shot stability. and chicks dig foregrips.

Oh yeah if you are looking to save air get an adjustable tank regulator wich can allow you to adjust imput pressure letting you save a little air.

But remember I think that the standard automag valve 68/mini runs on 800psi input so talk to some air pros (not boston paintball supply) before you buy one. I have heard you can adjust the max flo to exactly 800 and give your gun maximum performance. My tank (fixed) only outputs 750. Mabe I need to get a maxflo!

clarify that for me. "not a reg but add shot stability" are you referring to holding the marker steady or a more consistent shot to shot velocity ?

An adjustable tank is only necessary if you want EXTREME RT. I have a preset @ 800 and not noticed any obscure efficiency

Also, and adjusted down tank reg will not save you anymore air than pumping all 4500 psi into it. The built in reg limits it. The gun won't use every bit of psi pumped into it for every shot, so there is no gained efficiency. (If it did, I'd be having a MAJOR velocity issue.)

EDIT: And Classic valves need 400psi minimum to operate, but then that's really slow recharge and low fps. 800psi is just the recomended.

I mean holding the marker steady.
