    Make my mag quiet

I went paintballing last weekend and I seen this one guy there with a RT pro that was really quiet. It made mine sound like a tank. I have two mags, one just a plain stock RT pro with the retro value and I just bought a custom RT pro with the level 10, X-valve, lighter frame, ule body. Just wondering if anyone knows anything I can do to make them quiet. The one I seen over the weekend was super quiet, it was nice, Any help would be great. Thanks

The only thing you can do to your gun to make the least noise is to get a barrel with the most porting. The most effective will have very few and small ports to begin and then larger ports.

Get a 16 inch all american barrel.

I don't know about an rt pro but in a classic mag you can put in the old powertube spring instead of the spacer, it makes the gun quieter by not having the click sound of the spacer.

I use a Dye Ultralite on my mag and ever since I have started using them I wont change back to anything else. It is quiet and consistant with many different bores of paint, worth the cost.

DW Whisper barrel sounds good to me. My Dad says it sounds crazy when firing over his head. Much quieter than my boomstick.

a 14" J&J ceramic is pretty quiet IMO. I have a 12" and the 14" is quieter than that.

I use a cheap dye Xcel, and get lots of comments that my mag is the quietest marker on the field.
you know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...

What are you talking about? Maybe I am thinking about it too hard...but by powertube spring you mean the bolt spring? or what? And in place of what spacer?

no with the old lvl 7 there was a little brass spring the size of a spacer. then the spacers came out and people stopped using them.
