Right feed Micromag?

Was one ever made? All that I see are all left powerfeed, but I want to find a right powerfeed so that I can warp it.

Yes, both right and left were made. I've held examples of both. I have no clue on the numbers, but it does seem that left is the majority by far.

One thing that you may want to consider is that the bottom of the powerfeed is not circular such as the bottom side of the mini/automags. The bottom is "boxy" so you will have to make/rig a way to connect your warp hose to the bottomside of the powerfeed. It might be easier to go over top of the marker with a 90 and 45. 3/4" "Street" fittings found at lowes or home depot work awesome, and seem to be the same OD and ID of powerfeeds. I know that this way doesnt look as "sexy" as the other, but it might be a little cheaper/easier

Looking at my micromag I can't really see a way to warp it form the bottom, I think you would be best off getting a left powerfeed and warping it to the top of the powerfeed, they are pretty darn low profile powerfeeds anways. BTW If you are looking to a hopper left I am looking to get rid of mine pretty cheap.

I was more considering the fact that the entire PF assembally can kind of be removed, and thus, it should be able to be turned upside down Vwallah, perfect warp.

Hmmm Good Idea! Not to throw another wrench in your wheel, but you know that the mounting screws are on the bottom, so you would have to retap the top to allow the screws to hold the powerfeed on the body. You will also more than likely have to mill off a litlle on the lower body to allow the powerfeed adaptor to slide down a little lower.

I've wanted to get my hands on one of the older Micros for years to see about making a custom Warp adapter. If I could only find a loaner.

Right powerfeed micromags make the best warp mags. You don't need to do anything to the feedneck. Just flip it around and the pressure from the warp hose will push it up and keep it in place. I had that micro for about 4 months and played with it twice. When I played with it I never had a problem with the warp or feedneck coming loose. It was one of the most solid warp mags I've ever shot. Kind of miss it now that I think about it. hmm...

It works, but you still have the power feed in your line of site. That's the reason I came up with the SS warp feed. To me, it's just not very clean but I'm sure it works fine. I guess when you have a shop full of tools you look at hings diffrently.

a set screw wouldve been nice on the top too, or have one done to jelp hold it

mine did move around and never seemed to feed correctly. there is a difference when yuo flip it around, might have just been my micro but yeah it never fed right with the pf reversed

This should help you out. PTP makes an adapter to turn a PFR or PFL to a right feed or left feed. I purchased one of these earlier this year and it is a cool little piece. Just a little info on it, there are two versions of powerfeed micro's. One has a single screw holding on the powerfeed and another has two screws holding it on. If you order one, make sure you specify which you need. They are only made with one hole for the screw(I think) and I had to request that they modify it so it would have two holes. I have a 68 mag with a right non power feed i converted to left feed...
this might be an option for you, and its relativly non-expensive to convert your LEFT feed to a RIGHT feed....I dunno I am not an expert.
