Play at Camp Pendleton every weekend, usually Sundays.

Oct 21 is good with me... I can bring a few buddies to play. 28th is iffy since friends are having finals the following Monday.


Prefer Pendelton or Jungle... not too fond of the "cow" smell in the air at SC but will put up with it if we get a private group together.

So how many do we need for a private group? I'm sure if we all brought atleast 1 person, and I kno some guys could bring 3 or 4....we would be set

keep in mind that a private group at sc villiage would only be logical if woodsball would need to be included( I dont mind woodsball at all, i actually wanna try out some of their other maps and plus others may prefer woodsball over speedball) but IF the majority/all of the day is going to be speedball we could just play pickup games at our own pace and play whatever field we want.(10$ entry for speedball/hyperball only fields) The only con i see to that is that is waiting in line (which isnt bad at all from my experience just depends on how many people are there on that given day) for some speedball fields to open up. But whatevers clever! Looks like for private group prices its 20$ per person and a minimum of 30 people is needed to make this happen assuming we have this on a weekend.

As long as we don't hit any Air Ball fields, the hyperball fields tend to open up pretty fast.

Jungle does have a cow smell too...especially after the rains. Sewer & Stagnant water. Not as bad as SC but its there.

Oct 21 or 28 is fine with me. Would be nice to have more automags out on the field. I just hope nobody says...dude nice ion.... :mad: Or in the future, Is that an invert? :cuss:

Well, it seems we have a pretty good response.

I'm thinking the 28 will work the best. The 21 weekend there is a tournament, and I know my friends and maybe some other will want to go to that. If its the 28th, I will probably have 3-5 players going.

SC seems to be the feild that everyone plays at, so maybe we should play there the first time around. The only thing about a private game is people will have to play up front with no refunds. I am fine with just pick up games on the hyper/speedball, it seems that most of us like that style anyways.


Should I start a new thread for a SC game on the 28th, or should we keep it all in here?

Ok so here is the thing. If we can get some interest in this (I'm sure we can) then I'm willing to set up a private group for AOers. I talked to my bosses at HSP and if someone is willing to buy a membership for $300 then I can get us a private group up to 30 people. Paint will be discounted and rentals (Tippmann ProCarbines) will be free. All day air will also be discounted and might even be free if we play mostly speedball. I can also get us the Stadium for most of the day or we can have whatever field we want. I can either be the head ref. or I can request one of the better refs to be our private group ref. We can have the VIP room with air conditioning and tables. Food will be up to us, but HSP makes a mean pizza and I might be able to get a price break on that too.

So if there is some interest then I'll make a new thread and get this started. I can't make the SC Village 28th Game cause I'm throwing an early Halloween party at my house.
