The TAG Micro-Morlocks were supposed to be out the same time as the rest of their stuff, which is God-knows-when. Dive said that by the end of the year they will have a Uniboard available, which will be about the size of a razor blade and have the same keypad as their ion board. Punisher from Punisher Customs also had something in the works but I havent heard anything. The T-board is ok, its cheap, but realatively large and has the built in Cap.(well the spyder one does)Originally posted by Pneumagger
I used the TAG NME board, which was all I could get. It created all sorts of problems for me. I was hoping to squeeze the battery in there somehow but that board killed the idea. Ity was too big, the connector was in the back instead of the top, and there is an on board on/off button that I had to work with. If you use a RPG 90* you should have no problems though. Once I get my hands on something else Im going to re-do the whole thing. If I could get a machinist who could mill the frame to my spec for a reasonable price I would build a few and offer them for sale.Comment

BE, I went ahead and got a used ION board for $12 shipped. I figure it's good for a test board, it already has a huge Capacitor (maybe too big though), it's running 9V which should be okay, and has the trigger switch. If the board works, I can always grab a T-board and just toss it in there. The whole semi-pulsed output signal makes me wonder though.
HERE is the solenoid I'm choosing. I figure it will be fine, as I'm running a ULT with Level 10 and red spring. My only concern is that the ion board will dessimate the coil on it. I'm not worried so much about the 9V as I am the huge ION capacitor. I may use a much smaller cap after talking to YDNA and electrician.
I figure my Logic vert has loads of room, and I should only need to fabricate a bracket for the board and relocate the power button to the rear.
Hopefully with the way my QEV is set up I can break 20 BPS.Comment
