    Lexan grips?

has anyone tried this before? that is, making their own grips out of lexan? does anyone have any experience with cutting/trimming lexan? ive been wanting to do this for a while, but i never got to it because ive been too lazy to buy more attachments for my dremel.....

Ive seena ton of people make grips from lexan. Its a pretty simple and straight forward thing to do really.

Atach has a few. Should be durable enough to try.

        It's not terribly difficult.

Here's some green on another style pump kit of mine...

          FYI , wouldn't use a dremel.

Your just going to make a melted re-welded mess. You need to cut it at slow speed preferably using some kind of lubricant.

You can cut it with pretty much anything. Those on the Phantom are actually faceted around the edges. I cut them out on the mill.

After you cut them how you want to , just sand the cuts smooth working your way up to say 5-600 grit sand paper and finish it off with polishing compound. Clear coat car scratch remover and a thick soft cloth rag will work well too.
