    Problems with SS quick disconnect

Today I was unleashing my fury on some trees out back and noticed that my quick disconnect for the SS line is leaking! Has anyone else had this problem?

I took off the tank and disconnected and reconnected the line a few times and put the tank back on and still leaked. I am not sure what the problem is because two days ago I was recruiting my friend over to the AO cult and it didn't leak then.

I guess I'll just have to buy a new one but find it kind of bothersome...

Perhaps try replacing the oring before beggin for a new QD on the internet?

Put a little autolube on it and see if it helps. IIRC, I use mag powertube orings in there when they need replacing.

A PT oring will fit in a pinch, but it's actually a bit too large. Most Pro shops will have a QD oring. You can also find them at hardware stores.

Thanks! Guess I never thought about o-rings in quick disconnect, I was kinda thinking that the male piece was the culprit, as it is worn down a little from the bearings, but o-ring would make more since.

Thanks again, actually went up to a scuba shop and the hooked me up with all sorts of o rings for like 10 cents a piece so hopefully that'll do it, don't have any air right now to test it.

                It's not a cult

If it keeps up, pm me...I might have one laying around somewhere...

Most likely the oring. Just get one of those. I had the same problem.

Thanks, I don't think we would have figured that out without your help.
