I really like the Tarantula frame. It looks and feels great imo and is pretty rare. Since its my gun thats all that matters. lol

Today I payed at FOX4 paintball in mass. and I met a guy who had an AKA viking with a qloader. He was telling me how sweet his gun is, I loved the looks, and everything about it. That was until the game started. I followed him up to the first set of tree made bunkers, and he started walking the trigger, it was a good 30- 35 bps no joke. I thought he was ramping and had never heard of anything like that before. I saw his fingers moving that fast too. But after he ran out of paint a ref came over and said GO HOME AND CHEAT BY YOURSELF, NOT HERE. I was completely shocked. I stood up for the dude that I recently had met but the ref threatened to kick me out too. The guy was obviously walking it I saw it myself, he wasn't ramping. But I coulden't stop him. I guess the AKA is too good for itself?

Yes Vikings shoot 35+ with Qloaders.
No... nobody walks the trigger that fast. He most likely had the gun on Debounce 0 and was probably getting the gun to fire like 3-4 times a pull.

Please don't ever become a ref.

I am not used to hearing fast rates of fire like I heard from that guy's viking. However fast it was, it scared the hell out of the ref and got the guy kicked out.

don - Yeah, Vikings can go insanly fast if ya turn the debounce down.

On a side not, idk what the post office was thinking but they labeled my Viking package with a Hazmat warning sheet. Seriously, i get pics up later. I kept the sheet cus i found it funny.

I tried to get that viking a while back before spartan left for service. He was still wanting 2000 for it. I offered him a gun and a grand. He said it was tempting, but passed. Now the deal you got for it was right around the worth I offered him. Im saddend to think that could be mine. Ill get over it. I love the gun, but personally dont like fades or evil pipe kits because they are ungodly loud. Nonetheless, I still wouldve given 1500 for the gun.

As for a review between the excal and viking.....hmmmmm I can do that. Being that I own steelratts old stormtrooper streamline and a swirl featherlight that I just got back from gruntbull before he got super busy.

Viking and excal dont shoot all that much different in terms of putting your shots where you want them to go. Both have great consistency. The Excal is of course closed bolt, so it feels different when you shoot it. Kinda like an ecocker, but a lot smoother and a lot better feel. Its got a unique sound signature for sure. Kinda like a cross between a matrix and a cocker. Its a quiet low pitch pooof, w/ a click click after you shoot. Its a bit smoother feel IMO than the viking. Its a little less efficient than the viking. I love them both, but I have more fun playing w/ my excal for some reason.

Keep in mind his bb excal has an MQ valve in it, so it might shoot/differently than my excal. his is probably a LOT smoother since he can turn his LPR down a lot since it basically is only needed to acutate the bolt back and forth.

yea...its very hard to do 14 consistantly..... and even 10-12 for a long time.... no chance in hell iut was 35 on semi.

but yes, vikings could shoot 35 bps... and a qloader could feed it.

It looked like he was walking the trigger, mabe he was ramping or something. He seemed like a nice guy when I talked to him, I didn't expect him to cheat or get kicked out. But I am an AKA fan now.
