Can someone explain it to me?

Say your favorite gun is mech and fairly slow when setup legally. Then say for a little bit of money and a bit of effort you could make that same gun you loved into a very fast and now competative gun. What isnt to love? Nobody expects it to rip. Everyone thinks its just a plain slow choppy mech and bam, you rip off a string at 15bps. You dont have to mess with batteries in the gun(yeah big deal so what), you dont have to deal with boards not working, eyes wires getting pinched. And most of all you have something unique that is fun. Anyone can buy an ion and put it on ramping. Some people can buy any marker out there, set it to ramp and be lighting it up. Very few "compete" with a mech. To know you have pulled together one of the best mech markers out there is totally worth it to many.

When I play with some guns there is no connection with the gun itself. My angel and promaster are two that come to mind. They just are something I carry that shoots paint. With most electros I honestly feel like the gun is what is doing the work and I just click a mouse. I havent done anything to make it better. I havent set things up well. I havent added better parts to make it mine. They are just a gun. With a homemade pneumag I pick it up and feel proud. I took this gun to its peak. I made it as good as possible. And its more than just buying parts off the shelf and putting them into the gun. Its finding a way to hide the lpr, or mount the fabco valve in a benchmark frame, or how to drill to mount the mpa3. While it is documented well it still takes effort that if done wrong could ruin your gun. And for that when it all works amazingly well it is worth all the pride in the world.

If you cant find the fun in hiding in the garage each weekend to make it better then you wont ever see the fun in it.

So do I but I still missed out on this, how cool is that?!?! I watched that Deadlywind video and my jaw just dropped!!!! I am astounded, especially on a mech Mag! Awesome!! I heard of it but have never understood what it was about, before a feww days ago though I was completely ignorant of what a pneumag was! and here I'm thinkin' the ULT was cool! I was drooling from that!

Still Plenty or room for the MPA-3 assembly !!!1!

Well, this si taking alot longer than I thought. It's turning out nicely.. but even simple things seem complex. The 3way valve install that usually takes about 30 mins... took me 2.5 hours to shave and get just right. I guess tomorrow I get to finish up the MPA-3 and test the frame.

How are you planning on mounting the air system? I can see from the pic that you have a full screw length available on the front of the frame, but what about the rear hole where the 1/8th NPT is taking up a large part of the screw path? Is there enough there to sufficiently secure an HPA bottle without damaging the elbow or stripping the few remaining threads?

I used to only have one screw on my bottomline for the lonest time. So 1 and 1/4 shout be plenty!

Im having a bit of trouble seeing how you are going to get air into the msv2. Isnt the side where the tickler is touching the side you need to put barbs in? I dont see how this is going to get air. Im sure you have a way but I just dont see it.

Pneumagger... you need a better digital camera. Those images look harsh. or maybe you should turn ON the macro lens function if you're taking such close pics. DETAIL... I WANT TO SEE DETAIL!

The air input holes to the MSV are on the top of that particular 3 way. I just carefully ground out the excess "meat" from the 3way. So the output hose will only be like 1"-2" long and ther'll be no inefficient long hosing.

Sorry... I only have a $20 webcam. But last year I bought my girlfriend a 5MP Kodak and a Handheld sized Panasonic MiniDV.... which I am not allowed to use (especially in the viscinity or paintball)

Did you special order it that way or modify it? I thought the air ports were all supposed to be away from the lever. The body of the faboc msv2 has a hole in it so you could mount the lever either way but I have just never seen them that way.
