I think I've done a few frames this way... including my own. Just makes routing hoses easier. here is a pick of my internals: http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g4...w/100_1558.jpg
Notice the hoses out the top of the 3 way. All you gotta do is "flip" the lever. Easier sad than done. I acually messed up the lever on the intelliframe and had to canoballize another MSV-2 Now I only have a spare MSV-1.

      tickler

Couldn't you take the end of the tickler reg down a bit to make it shorter and the fit better?

I have never really seen those, so I dont know the construction all that well, but couldn't you shave a bit off the end, or change out the knob for something shorter?

Not really... Maybe a 1/16" max
The knob is hollow and internally threaded. Sort of like a little cup over the end that contains the spring. Shave off too much and the bottom of the cup dissapears.

I ened up cutting the 1/8 NPT thread on it in half and retapping (bottomtapping) and redieing the threads so they can screw all the way together. then I shaved down the nut that the Tickler sits on so it could set down into the notch I made in the I frame. Other than using an end mill to remove the bulk of the Intelliframe material... everything was then shaved with the dremmel for a nice fit. Next time I may try shortening the Elbow to give me more bottom ASA threading to work with.

This is just one small step in the battle against the LPR. Next step: LPRless Pneumag- stay tuned in...

LPR-less, that would be something to see.

I can outshoot the Classic Valve pretty easily... And that's with level 7 bolt and Rt on/off. If it had a ULT Xvalve... it would be distgusting. But it still rips up to about 12-13 before shooting down.

It's neat and all... but after doing all that work and all the cramming of crap into it, I think it's easier to stick the LPR on the bottom ASA for a "bolt on" setup. Or just stick it out front.

Now if I made a mini hardline setup to get air there instead of bulky airlines.... it would be better looking IMO.
