How did they come up with the name Epiphany? Epiphany means "a sudden realization" or something similar. What did they realize? Because they're still manufacturing guns. (snicker) Talk about butchering the English language.

Read a little bit on it the other night..and the whole idea of changing sleaves to increase efficiency is pretty cool,and innovative, but seems like it could be a pain in the *** untill you get it set up right..and why wouldnt they just get them all as efficient as possible..make a lot less hassle for the consumer......then again my vague reading may have caused me to misunderstand the concept..looks good though..im just curios if its justl ike and ion with a metal body over it..or if that body you see is THE body....not internal body and "shell" deal..For those that have seen this in person can you access the bolt from the back?..ehh either way ill pass.

No, youve got it right. They dont just make it as efficient as possible so people thinks its amazing you can adjust the gun with inserts. The main thing the are used for is diff setups but in all honesty its pointless. The body you see is just a shell form what ive gathered. All in all its just an upgraded ion, nothing more.

I was hangin out in the SP tent yesterday, I saw the gun, I shot the gun, and boy was it nice.
And for $399-$450(whatever online stores will charge, SP guy gave me those prices) I might have one in my arsenal.

i wonder if this is possibly the beginning of the end for the shocker, though....it seems to do almost everything the shocker does for a smaller price tag.

That would just be dumb on their part....they can sell both so why limit themselves to one.There is a market for both prodcuts, which the maret for the lower end gun probably end up buying the high end gun later on..instead of being smart and buying it the first go around...then again i offically quit buying new guns.unless they are at cost. I now have a 1100 dollar proto thats worth 600..glad i dont wanna sell it, for now on i will deal with a few problems for a few hundred dollars less...guess i got off on a little rant there.

makes sense, but i think that the Epiphany will draw at least some buyers down from the higher end shocker market, at least for the short term. we all saw how nuts the aggies went when the ugly plastic ion first came out.

like you though, i'm done buying markers for the next few years, so it doesn't make a difference to me at all.

MONEY ion's went from 299 down to 199 & still wern't selling that well ; so let's upgrade the body , keep the same basic guts & sell it for a higher price , the STOCKHOLDERS will love it & somebody will buy it

It's still a Ion, but it looks decent. If I could get any Ion {for free} I'd get the punishers instead. It's hot.

Youd take a punishers ion over any other one, wow, thats kind of sad. I can think of a lot of better looking ions then those ugly things.
