Me and one of my cousins have been thinking about playing airsoft because it doesn't take my 1000 sq.ft. yard and is more realistic and super cheap and his health crazy mom can't say it will break skin and hurt the environment if we use bio-degrade bb's and spring loaded 180 fps at 30-40 ft. what do yall think
Airsoft Anyone?

Well, i have 2 friends that are extremely into it.. they go on scenario ops and stuff about twice a month. Of course, the also have guns (1 has 2) that cost around 500 each, as well as $100+ gas pistols. If you eally get into it you will end up spending atleast 100 to get a decent gas pistol. And it is possible that you will end up with guns that cost as much if not more then your PB markers.
PM me if you have any questions and i can probably help you out.

A word to wise, if you are used to paintball don't play airsoft. You get pissed when you see it hit and there is no proof. I had to stop myself when I took my gun and wrapped it around my friends neck in an attempt to strangle him. The only cool thing that came from Airsoft was mounting my homemade BB machine gun inside of the airsoft gun body.
In all seriousness airsoft is fun if everybody has the same level of gun. If you all have springers with hopup it will be fun. Everybody will have a good time.
And for a recomendation look for a Tokyo Marui HGHU Pistol. 26 round magazine and super good hopup
or
Maruzen CA870 Spring shotgun. 40 round mag and shoots at a pretty high rof for a springer. Overall my favorite springer.

well paintballs are biodegrable too. and non- toxic. and i think that airsoft pellets will break skin easier aswell. so why does using biodegrable BBs change anything?Originally posted by iamboredMe and one of my cousins have been thinking about playing airsoft because it doesn't take my 1000 sq.ft. yard and is more realistic and super cheap and his health crazy mom can't say it will break skin and hurt the environment if we use bio-degrade bb's and spring loaded 180 fps at 30-40 ft. what do yall think
i played airsoft once or twice.. i didnt really like it. a lot of my friends had really nice electric guns, and i had a broken shotgun..... so it was kinda hard. but i would suggest trying it. youll never know if you dont try

I like paintball because all paintball guns shoot the same speed. Having more money in airsoft usually means your guns shoot harder, and farther so you have an advantage...

What? $70 a day? I played yesterday for $10!!! I had some old field paint I was allowed to use, had some leftover CO2 (so no need for a fill/all day air.), and only paid $10 to get in.Originally posted by iamboredSimple fact that I haven't seen anywhere cheaper than 70 for a day to play pb in a few months and I don't no a thing about air soft except that if you drop a brick on an airsoft gun it goes crunch
This helps, also. I used my Trilogy Sniper all day long yesterday. Most I shot was a hopper and a tube in one game (err... one 45rnd hopper and one 10rnd tube, that is!). I used less than 500 rounds all day and still had a blast (and managed to keep my "kill count" high)!Originally posted by behemoth70 dollars a day?
I have an easier solution....
buy a pump gun.
P.S. - Thanks for the Cali stock, Josh! Soooo comfortable!Autocockers are the greatest markers ever made.
