need some reviews for the CCM SS25

    1. is it a good pump gun?
    2. accuracy?
    3. how are the stock parts?
    4. how is the velocity adjusted?
    5. Is it hard to tech?
    6. air input pressure?
    7. give it a star rating out of 5

Thanks I am planning on asking the big man in red (who obviously isn't real) for this gun for christmas. So tell me what you think of it!

one of the best open class pump guns out there in my opinion. Very smooth shoots great, velocity is adjusted just like any other cocker. The barrel is good so as long as the paint match is good it will be fine. Teching it is nearly the same as teching any other pump cocker except you have an autotriggr as well.

I would defintley suggest this for open class play, if you're more of a stock class kind of guy go for a phantom.

The best thing to do is ask around and see if anyone has a pump you can try out.

        I love mine.
I am goingto sell my phantom soon because of this marker.
Just fits my style of play better.
The pump action is smooth even with the autotrigger.
balance is nice and easy to transition and off hand shoot.
I use a Palmer Stab as my very reg not the stock one.
Nothing wrong with the stock I just like palmers for multi gas uses. I use a 20 coz OR a 45/45 stubby.
The sc feed is nice. I use a wevo feed as the CCM one wasnt easy to get ahold of at the time I got mine.
Trigger is smooth like melting butter.
This is my GO TO marker for pump play as I can switch from sc to open pump with a few screws and a very adapter.
Wire detents are great ...esp since you arent worried about the detent jamming at that one moment you NEED a ball.

out of 5 stars, I would give it 4.5
Weight is my ONLY issue with this marker...when compared to the Phantom...but then again...ALL markers are heavy compared that way.

thanks so much, I have a question, what's so special about the autotrigger? I like how it's 86 degrees. Is the velocity adjustment easy, or time consuming?

^do you know what an autotrigger is?

Velocity is super easy, don't worry about it.

I've had my SS-25 for a while now, I LOVE it, wouldn't trade it for a thing. The best pump out there.

But if your looking for a new pump, read through this thread,

CCM's releasing a new pump before christmas.
I'm buying one as soon as I get enough money.

means if you hold the trigger in it will shoot as fast as you pump it

They run between 350 psi and 400 psi (mines 400), so I would say you want an input pressure of at least 500 psi.

So in other words, I'm sure what ever high pressure tank your using is fine.

it gets 10 Stars out of 5

                            (that is not a typo...)
