Arizona Mag Comeback

I've been seeing all this converstaion about mags making a comeback, or AGD going down hill, but I just wanted to share with everyone that atleast in the Carefree Arizona area, mags seem to be growing in popularity.

At my local field they even started renting out automags
Behind the counter they have multiple mags on display, including a micromag, some nice ULEd mags, a Pneumag, and even a minimag with the confederate flag design painted onto the body

Recently I've seen atleast 4 or 5 people in the last couple of weeks with mags, and I think the field owners and refs being mag enthusiasts has a lot to do with it.

At my local paintball shop there is also a good mag base, they always have minimags and classic mags in stock, and even have an AGD longbow and an x-mag, along with multiple ULE bodies, lvl 10 kits, and many other parts and upgrades. The shop itself is great too, they are friendly and helpful, and don't try to con people out of their money. They have a devout mag tech thats always really happy to see a fellow mag lover.

I think it's great to live in an area like this, its nice to see so many people educated on AGD

That's nice to hear.

There is a nice mag presence in the scenario world out here (Va, Md, Pa, Nj), but my local shops don't carry them at all anymore.

Wish I had a shop like yours.

My home field (work and play there) has two AGD techs, one of which has been involved with AGD since the beginning (i itnhk he technically owns the double barreled mag, but don't quote me on that). We have several ule bodies anda couple of parts, altohugh sadly a majority were sold off on ebay.

the X-mag just sold sadly, but to a good mag person. Its bitter sweet.

Yeah that was me.
I have had to cut back hours because of school. Im there only a few hours during the week, but Im still there all day fri and sat.

No. I might be in later around close but I doubt it. If anything I usually come in late wed.
I have a report to do this week and need to start gearing up for finals... so I have actually considered taking some time off this weekend as well.

On one hand I miss being at work, cause school is an absolute drag. Not to mention my funds are stretched very thin right now... but school is meant to fix the whole funds problem in the long run so I guess its okay. Hopefully I will have my pick of the new 2010 guns.

AZ is pretty mag friendly imho...

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I know I havent played in like forever it seems(atleast locally) but I still know plenty of mag friendly stores (APD specifically, and certain managers at other stores closer to me)

Um Id like to get something together for 1st qtr 2007 when the cashflow isnt so constrained for the lot of us too.

Unfortunately, outside of AO-OH, you don't see many 'Mags in Ohio. (I guess you could include some of the MCB-OH guys, too)

mags arent popular here...neither are cockers. i own both and i manage to never have any problems with my "slow-old guns" hahaha, go figure.

Im here in AZ, i need some molex connectors for my hypermag, and i can get it shooting... somone wana help me out? I dont wana buy a shocker, but i cant find these stupid parts.
