im glad you confess, i didn't want to make this a big argument but you turned it into one. i still want to know what teams you "played for" in these nppl and psp events. i will never play in those events, nor do i have a desire too, we are a SCENARIO team. so until you cough up some team names, your a big fat LIAR to me, and to anyone who reads this thread.

don miguel, being on a team has NOTHING to do with a players skill. NOTHING. Any idiots can form a team, that doesn't mean they are good. They can probably also get a small sponsorship or two. Again, without much skill.

ANd you could also have an excellent player who doesn't want to deal with the hassle of being on a team. I know plenty of these. They'll join a team for a few weeks for an event sometime, or join a team for a year and then leave, or maybe they just gave up on tournament paintball after a few years. This doesn't have anything at all to do with their skill level.

Your linking of team to skill is the noobiest of noob comments. Looking at your team website makes me think you guys would get laughed out of any real tournament. The gear and the clothes don't make the player, but in your guys case, they lead me to believe you don't have a freaking clue what you are talking about.

The vid is priceless. We were all Nubies at one time. I used a spyder extra with a 20 ounce CO2 tank when I started. I would put the thing on my shoulder and rock (my version of walking) the triger back and forth to give me a full auto feel.

Props to the kid. As long as he is not scared to play, moving in the right direction, and will listen to advice so not to give away mine or his postion he could play with me anytime .

and ragged on me for not playing any of those speedball events (if he looked at the website, were a scenario team). i repeadedly asked him what team(s) he played for with in those events, and for 5+ posts after that he ragged on my team, and didn't tell me what team he plays for. he isn't a one man nppl, pan-am, psp team is he? he rags on my team but has none himself, HYPOCRIT! why is he doing that? does he get it? heis making himself look stupid.

Dont hate Derek, the Young Gunz Division needs lovin too. Victory means they didnt get their asses completely handed to them.

Don, again, a) he's got nothing to prove to you, b)the real noob is the one that thinks because someones on a team, they are good(all thats needed to be on my local pb fields team is to own an ion and be able to bend the rules a little ) and c) some of the best people ive ever played with and against are ones that were on a team but cannot continue due to real life responsibilities inhibiting them from doing so, or people that are amazing at paintball but dont care to play all that much. Hell, i brought some of my HS senior buddies out to play, most from the Varsity LAX team, and the best guy out there overall was a defensive LAX player that Im pretty good friends with, and while his stance and movements were terrible, he managed to take out an entire clemson college team 3 games in a row all by himself.
